It was another hockey overnight. Simple room. Functional TV. Friendly service at the desk. Delicious breakfast staples. I arrived tired and hungry. I left refreshed and energized.

Einfach und etwas veraltet, aber es war alles da was man braucht und sauber. "Einfach" gilt auch für das Frühstück. Hier fehlte mir das Obst (möglicherweise Corona-Bedingt?). Das Essen im Restaurant (ab 17 Uhr) und auch der Kuchen (ab 14 Uhr) waren sehr lecker, man sah das auch am Besuch. Offensichtlich weiß man in der Umgebung, dass man hier gut essen kann. Ich hatte wegen der nahen Bundesstraße befürchtet, dass man vielleicht Verkehrslärm hört, aber es war ruhig. Wer in der Nähe ist sollte das Porzellanmuseum in Selb besuchen und Comic-Fans das Erika-Fuchs-Haus in Schwarzenbach.

Das Hotel liegt sehr ländlich und ist nur ein Katzensprung von der Autobahn entfernt. Das Personal ist super freundlich.

Schon der Hof war ungepflegt, mit überquellenden Aschenbechern. Der Turmeingang schmutzig, wie auch der Flur. das Zimmer war zwar sauber, aber mit alter Austattung - als sei es ein Sammelsurium. Das Frühstück war allerdings sehr gut - der Blick in die Küche aber erschreckend.
