I recently stayed at the Bridge Cottage B&B and had a lovely experience. The breakfast was excellent, and the hostess, Miranda, was very welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The bedroom was large and comfortable -- I highly recommend Bridge Cottage B&B!

8/10 Very Good

Lovely truly quiet cottage B&B experience.
We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Bridge Cottage. From the helpful directions provided by our host in advance, the welcome upon arrival, the booking made for us at the local pub, which served great food, the lovely quiet cottage accommodation and comfortable room, to the excellent breakfast in the morning. This is a lovely, dog friendly B&B located well for access to a no. of local attractions and the area. The property could do with some maintenance but this didn't detract from an otherwise lovely stay. We will look forward to coming back when next in the area.

Excellent host, very welcoming and huge breakfast. Big and hot bath. A bit of a step from the South Downs Way, but took a bus back which was half hourly at that time of the morning and that was very quick.

8/10 Very Good

If you like quirky, to see deer wander past at breakfast (which was very good) in a relaxed atmosphere with a friendly and helpful host this place is a bit different. Accessed down an unmade road, but directions were spot on. If you want pristine this may not be for you.

Wow !! Bridge Cottage truly is a great find … a hidden gem . Beautiful antique-furnished rooms in a location to die for .. woods, countryside and a babbling stream and a warm welcome from Miranda who is just great ! It’s a special place where where one instantly feels at home and de-stressed by the tranquility of the location . Plus truly amazing home cooked breakfast served with antique crockery/cutlery overlooking idyllic countryside. We are definitely returning !

It is a lovely old house filled with beautiful things collected by the owner. The interior is tastefully decorated sympathetic to the age and style of the house. Everywhere is spotless, and the host is warm, welcoming, helpful without ever being imposing. I cannot find anything negative to report about this experience.

Bridge Cottage is a magical place. Tucked away just outside of Midhurst, it is an oasis for anyone wanting to escape city life. Miranda is a an excellent welcoming host, her cottage is spotless and adorned with eclectic artwork and the grounds are beautiful. We chose this B&B because we could bring our dog - he didn’t want to leave! Miranda made him very welcome but also took great care of us which was appreciated and much needed.

6/10 Good

My wife and I stayed in Bridge Cottage for one night with our son. This is not an inexpensive B&B located in a secluded lane. We had a warm welcome from the owner who had been very accommodating of our late arrival. Inside, we were ordered to remove our shoes. With warning we would have brought slippers with us to be more comfortable. It would be worth noting that there are two lovely dogs on the property and evidence of these was found in the bedroom – those with an allergy to dogs or dust should be aware. The ensuite was clean with an excellent shower. As was noted in a review elsewhere, the ensuite in this room doesn't have any curtains or blinds. I therefore made a makeshift blind from a travel-cot mattress found in a cupboard. The property’s walls are decorated with works of art – parents might like to be aware that some of these might be considered too explicit for younger children. The cooked breakfast was excellent and our request for alternative milk for my wife was catered for. Unfortunately, during breakfast, someone entered our room without asking (none of the rooms or bathrooms has locks). Our son's bed, and my improvised window covering, were removed – leaving the toilet area exposed to the clear window. Maybe my attempt to provide privacy was not appreciated as, unlike our arrival, our departure did not involve the presence of our host. I am an experienced traveller. Whilst I don't like to be negative, it's important to give an honest review.
