Amazing grounds, pool and garden. Beautiful old hotel. Unfortunately, I had expectations for a more comfortable bed. I also expected the electricity to work and for their to be a little heat. There was no compensation for the failed electricity. I would definitely choose a different hotel next time and just visit the pool and the hotel. The staff did not care one bit for any of the issues. Disappointing. Go stay in Aswan instead!

Night at the Museum
This hotel has so much history. It does not just show it, It makes you feel it as well. Service is great. The hotel is well kept but some updating, melting new with old could help. Beautiful garden. Pool is ok, it is shared with other hotel next door. A view of the nile might be intriguing, but it is facing the loud main street. Directly outside of the hotel the heckling starts. Totally recommended for people following the footsteps of Howard Carter, exploring this city.
