Mixed experience, would have been very negative if it wasn't for Hamisse on reception who was always smiling, helpful and understanding, so a big thank you to him. It just felt like "computer says no" the whole time.. no way they could find anything to eat for my 2yr old early evening, fair enough, was told we had to wait until 7pm when the restaurant would open.. ok.. so we did.. went to the restaurant at 7pm just to be told it was full tonight and we were told to find somewhere else. Went to reception and Hamisse kindly made a call and got us a table immediately.. there were so many free tables the entire time we were there, I don't understand why we were turned away. By the time we got both children to bed and set up the monitors it was just past 9pm, and we were told the cooks stop at 9pm (despite a massive table having only just been seated..) and there was no way they could get us anything to eat at all, and we were told to find somewhere else.. (not sure how they thought that would work with 2 children sleeping in the room). Back to Hamisse who kindly suggested deliveroo. Also very disappointing that the "seasonal" pool still wasn't open on a hot June summer's day.. (but that disappointment is completely our fault for not reading the small print.. but come on, June!!) The room was clean and a good size, and they had airport trolleys for luggage which was useful.
