Needs some work
A lot wrong with rooms and the maintenance. Clogged toilet and the maintenance guy couldn’t unclog so they switched me rooms. Then new room, only access to 1 tv channel and staff couldn’t help effectively so they switched me rooms yet again. Thought maybe I’d get some kind of credit for my stay or discount but nothing. Staff at front were great and were trying to be helpful but it’s just a cheap hotel that needs upgrades is all.

Old motel befitting an old forgotten town
This place befits the character of the town of Aberdeen…just a pass through. This facility is really dated despite some interior attempts to update it. The place has a moldy musty smell and the door has bandaid repairs the lock. Does not look like it is fully closed and exterior noise is clearly audible. When the room comes with instructions to operate the tv and shower is a telltale sign that things require a bit more effort beyond expectations. The tv was a challenge and I gave up trying to get it to work. The exterior of the place could use some upkeeps. The stairs has moss growing that made it slippery when wet. My hiking shoes slipped a couple steps while navigating down. Definitely a hazard to be aware of.

The non-smoking room reeked of smoke and had been covered up with Febreeze to hide the scent. We felt so sick by the morning that we got up early and left hours before we had planned to. The breakfast was very meager. The room was really quite dirty. We spilled water on the floor and put down a white towel to soak it up. When we picked it up the towel was TOTALLY brown and gross from the carpet! Door jam had been busted through and potentially bullet holes in the wall???
