My best friend and I checked into the flamingo hotel on Friday, December 13th. We went for my best friends birthday, it was her first Vegas experience.
We upgraded our room, thinking it would make the experience that much better. We were wrong.
Our room was unclean. There was an empty bottle of alcohol, an empty bottle of water, the washroom shower head was not clean, there was NO shampoo, body wash, soap, or conditioner. We called the housekeeper supervisor. We spoke to Oscar. Oscar saw the state of the room and agreed the room was not clean. He took pictures evidence of everything and said he will request a room change as he felt the room was up to standards.
We never got a call about the room change. On Saturday, we requested our room to be cleaned at around 12:45pm. We were out for majority of the day and we arrive back to our hotel at around 6:30pm to find our room was not clean. We called again and dealt with Oscar. Oscar was extremely surprised we were in the same room as he requested the room change for us. He advised to speak to the supervisor upon check out to request for a refund on at least one night.
Upon check out, we didn’t get our refund as suggested. Our resort fees were covered. But, I paid for a room, expecting a standard, clean room with the amenities promised on the ad. They asked to contact you directly as it was booked through hotels.com.
I am requesting a compensation. Our experience at Vegas was not what we intended it to be.
