The pub was very welcoming and made you feel at home. The Tankerville Arms is on the side of the road in a little village which is very quiet. The food and service was excellent and very friendly staff. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We would highly recommend this hotel for a stay

A very relaxed stay in a beautiful setting. Small evening menu, but delicious food. Breakfast options were extensive and delicious, with excellent service too. The room was very comfortable - bed linens and towels were of high quality and everything was sparkling clean. We will be back!

A Countryside Gem
We spent a wonderful two nights here and will definitely be coming back. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and exceptional value. The breakfast is epic. Hosts and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good base for visiting Holy Island, Bamburgh or Alnwick.

Lovely pub with real fire
Very helpful staff and room very clean, but cold when we arrived no heating on. We were in the french room I paid at time of booking and wasn't aware that it was a private bathroom and not ensuite, had to cross a corridor to use facilities not ideal as the corridor was used by other guests and also staff as the laundry room also in that corridor. Great breakfast

Excellent Stay
Had a perfect stay. Extremely friendly staff who made us feel at home and were genuinely keen to help us enjoy our trip. Nice beer garden and enjoyed playing on the swing-ball! We sampled breakfast, Sunday lunch and evening meals - all of a high standard and exceptionally tasty. We had the Eldon Room with a superking bed. Lots of little extra touches and good to have a fridge in the room. Only slight niggle was the tv was quite small. Special thanks to Lauren who really looked after us.
