The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was brilliant . And we had an evening meal which was also brilliant. I understand the hotel is going thru a total refurbishment which will only add to the appeal . We come to this hotel twice a year for the last several years because it’s locality to other places we visit and because of the friendly staff . May it long continue and see you in spring next year

Everything was perfect, the Staff nothing was too much trouble, my only criticism would be, being disabled there was no lift, other than that everything was perfect.

Lovely spacious room with excellent sea view but quite shabby decor with peeling wallpaper. I gather the hotel has just been taken over though and is undergoing renovations so expect this will be improved soon. Breakfast okay for hot food but no coffee machine or toaster, this is brought out to you, coffee was only lukewarm. No dairy free butter or milk. And uninspiring pre packaged croissants, no other pastries or muffins. Dining Room was also tatty with no atmosphere but expect this will be renovated soon too. Free car park and good location very close to sea and shops

Good, seafront hotel
A nice hotel well located on the sea front. We were lucky enough to get a room immediately over the main entrance overlooking the promenade. Can be a bit noisy due to traffic though. Very clean and tidy throughout. Good size twin room (I travelled with my 19 yr old son - and he thought the hotel was pretty good, and he's always honest!). Excellent full English breakfast. Very pleasant and helpful hotel staff. Redcar isn't especially attractive as a place, but if you need/want to stay in the town, then Park Hotel is the place to stay.

I booked to stay here with my mum, (who is 89 and hails from Redcar) for my birthday as a treat for us both. We had 2 single rooms booked. When we arrived, the lovely lady on reception, realising my mum's fabulous age, moved us into 2 double rooms near each other on the ground floor! That in itself deserves 5 star rating for me! The bar and breakfast host, and the housekeeping lady were also very friendly and helpful which made our stay here a delight! Thank you one and all!

Weekend in the Zetland suite
The stay was exactly what was expected, I stayed in the Zetland suite for 2 nights with my wife and we loved the room, bathroom was it anything too big! The bed was firm and comfy, the breakfast was mediocre but value for money was great! Round the corner from some brilliant bars and pubs. We ate at the restaurant 1 evening and although the main was nice could have done with a bit more flavour (Parmesan meal) the starters were perfect!
