The staff was very polite, and the pool was nice. It was such a convenient location to travel to the ballpark and the Arch. The lobby was always packed, and the elevators required a wait to use. The Cubs were in town, so that probably affected it.

Only great thing about the hotel is the location. Nice having Starbucks in the lobby. Lots of lines. Line to drop off car for valet. Line to check in. Line to take elevator. The property is large with two separate towers for rooms. The east tower rooms are older. The bathrooms are small and do not have towel racks for some reason. They do have one hook on the door, however. The rooms are otherwise clean and have a great views of the city. The cleaning staff would not clean our room even when we asked the cleaning staff when they were directly outside of our room too please clean our room, they did not do so. They did drop off new towels after repeated requests. So the cleaning staff is not great during your stay. The room was clean when we checked in. It has a very decent gym and pool. The restaurant at the bar is very good. The staff at the bar is super friendly. The breakfast buffet is probably not worth the cost, but if you are in a hurry, it is a decent breakfast. There are other options around the downtown area.

We had a good stay but somethings were unexpected coming from a fancy hotel in a big city. We are from a small town in Arkansas and even we have microwaves in the rooms.. I didn't like that I had to go 14 floors down over to a different wing of the hotel to pop my popcorn in the middle of the night.. the pool was great and all but it is only up to 4 and a half feet and doesn't get no lower then 3 feet.. NOT heated indoor pool. Breakfast was so yummy and so many options.. it was not free and I ended up paying over 70 dollars for the breakfast buffet both mornings we stayed.. but yet we paid extra when we revered the room so we could have breakfast included with our room.. which I was not! The staff was very helpful and met all our needs.. but threaten to throw away my pizza after 5 min of it sitting on the counter when everything else was brought to my room.. but wouldn't bring the pizza. It just didn't make sense to me. We had a good time but will not be booking with this hotel again.. was not worth the money..

Our comforter was visibly dirty, and the front desk staff was rude twice. Our key cards didn't work. The line for the elevator was very long and busy, and we had to keep waiting in it because of our key cards. When we asked for a new comforter, we got one but had to make the bed ourselves. All the linens had holes in them, from pillowcases to sheets, and we paid so much for the location. The rooftop bar was wonderful, and I loved the NA wine on the menu. The valet staff and concierge were kind and helpful.
