Dipirang

Dipirang is a digital nighttime theme park located in Nammangsan Park, Tongyeong. There are 15 thematic trails that make use of light and artificial lighting. It was created as a nighttime tourist attraction while preserving the original appearance of Nammangsan Park. The park uses a variety of lights to create a fantastic atmosphere. If you are traveling by automobile, you can use the free public parking lot at Nammangsan Sculpture Park.
This is a nightly program that allows you to pre-purchase your tickets online and check in at the park entrance. It consists of a 1.3-km-road that combines a paved road and forest path, and it takes about 50 to 80 minutes to walk the trail. It is open even when it rains, but umbrellas are not allowed and you must wear a raincoat, as it may interfere with the viewing experience. Pets are not allowed.

Sunset cruising
See the sunset and the sea from a yacht

Sunset cruising allows you to enjoy the romantic view of the sea and the sunset on a yacht. You can access the cruise through a pick-up service at Tongyeong Jungang Market or the Skyline Luge. After arriving at the marina, the cruise starts around 4:30. The yacht cruise in Tongyeong uses wind-propelled yachts. Let the cool sea breeze wash over you as you go out to sea on a yacht.
Photographs are included with the cruise, so make sure to wear some nice clothes that go well with yachts. You can even opt to stop at Hansando Island to watch the sunset. Fall in love with the red sunset and the sea at Tongyeong. If you stay in a partner guesthouse, you are even eligible for discounts. We recommend setting aside sufficient time for the cruise. Bukporu Gatepavilion

Bukporu, from which Tongyeong can be seen, is located near the summit of Yeohwangsan Mountain in the north of Tongyeong. This is the highest point to see Tongyeong. It is a place where you can appreciate the Tongyeong Citizens' Cultural Hall, Marina Resort, and Tongyeong Concert Hall. The scenery is beautiful and it is a good place for a walk.
Bukporu is a gatepavilion sitting on top of the north gate of Tongyeongseong Fortress, which was built during the Joseon period. Such types of buildings, known as mullu, are built to act as watchtowers on top of gates. The former site of Tongyeongseong Fortress sitting 174.2 meters above sea level stands 4.7 meters high, 4 meters wide, and 3,660 meters in circumference. It starts from the foot of Yeohwangsan Mountain to the north of the North Gate and ends at the foot of the mountain to the north of the West Gate. Approx. 1-km-long stretches of fortifications from both sides of Yeohwangsan Mountain are made up of earth, and the rest are made up of stone.

Noeul Observatory, where you can watch the sunset against the open sky and sea, is located on Yokjido Island. You can park your automobile in one of the few available spots in the nearby carpark. Find the sign hidden among the bushes next to the carpark to find your way to the observatory. From the decked observatory, you have an open view of the sky and the sea.
When the evening arrives, you can see the romantic golden sunset over the sea as the sun goes down through the red clouds. Sit on the bench and let yourself drift into contemplation while the sun descends between the clouds and into the sea.

Tongyeongdaegyo Bridge

Tongyeongdaegyo Bridge, known for its beautiful night view, stands 591meters long and 20 meters wide. The bridge connects Dang-dong, Bodiseom Island, and Misu-dong over the Tongyeong Canal. Before the Tongyeongdaegyo Bridge was built, the undersea tunnel and the Chungmugyo Bridge were the only passages to Mireukdo Island. The bridge itself has 196 floodlights in the arch section of the top plate, which together emit a warm and soft blue light at night. The lights illuminate the water, creating countless projections in the shape of rugby balls that made the area a new nighttime tourist attraction and a spot for romantic walks.
Walkways at the beginning and the end of the bridge are also equipped with ramps, making it accessible for wheelchair users. In addition to being a scenic spot for night views, it also makes for a great place to take a nighttime drive. Dara Park
Park to enjoy views of the sea

Dara Park is famous for its sunsets. The park is located midpoint of Sanyang-iljuro, a 23-km-long road that circles the coast of Mireukdo Island to the south of Tongyeong. The name "Dara" comes from its topography, which is said to resemble the molars of an elephant, but now it is also used to mean "a good place to watch the moon." It is a good place to relax while enjoying the view of the Tongyeong sea, and you can look down to find the islands of Hansando, Yokjido, and Saryangdo.
There is a pavilion called Gwanhaejeong in Dara Park. Find a large map of the surrounding islands to orient yourself. If you go further toward the sea from the pavilion, you can experience the feeling of standing on the edge of the earth. There are tourist attractions in the area including Miraesa Temple, Mireuksan Mountain, and Yi Chungmugong Hall, as well as beaches like Yeondaedo Beach and Bijindo Beach.

Skyline Luge

Skyline Luge, where you can enjoy the thrill of a luge in Tongyeong, is located opposite the Tongyeong Cable Automobile. A luge is a wheeled gravity-based ride that is controlled by the rider. The luge in Tongyeong runs on a 1.5-km-long track. The controls are quite easy to learn. The height difference between the highest and the lowest points of Skyline Luge is equivalent to a 35-storey building. Enjoy the scenery overlooking the sea of Tongyeong and the surrounding islands.
You first ride the skyride, a lift system like a ski gondola, to the starting point of the ride. There, you get on a cart, and down you go on a ride downhill! Skyline Luge operates in 5 locations around the world. Tongyeong's Skyline Luge is the 6th in the world. Children under 110 cm in height can ride with a guardian.

Tongyeong Bowling (STRIKE) is located in downtown Bukshin-dong. Mirror balls and neon lights are installed on the ceiling, so rather than darkness in the evening, it takes on a bright, club-like atmosphere. Bowl a strike with excellent form along with fun music.
Alcohol, beverages, and a variety of snacks are also available. There is a separate vending machine and rest area for your convenience. The price is cheaper than the Seoul area, the bowling alley is spacious and clean, and the interior is quite pleasant. Sofas are comfortable as well. Tongyeong International Music Hall, completed in 2013, is a festival house for the Tongyeong International Music Festival, which kicked off in 2002. Thanks to its beautiful architecture that emphasizes the beauty of the surrounding neighborhoods, it has served as a landmark for Tongyeong. The hall is located to the east of the Tongyeong Cruise Ship Terminal, where its silhouette, shaped in the form of wings, stands in harmony with the sea. A walking trail has been built around the Concert Hall. There is also an outdoor stage overlooking the sea where small performances can be held.
Tongyeong is one of the world's leading music cities, with international conferences, carefully selected performances, the Isang Yun Competition, and the Tongyeong International Music Foundation (TIMF) Academy. The Tongyeong International Music Foundation is a foundation that started with the Tongyeong International Music Festival, which honors world-famous composer Isang Yun and his music. The Tongyeong International Music Festival, held in early April, and the Isang Yun Competition, which alternates between violin, cello, and piano sections in November, are held at the Tongyeong Concert Hall. In 2015, Tongyeong was selected as a UNESCO Creative City of Music.
