    Marktplatz Leipzig is the historic public square in the middle of the Old Town. It’s characterized by beautiful architecture from the Middle Ages. The buildings around the edge of the square host numerous shops, restaurants, and museums. It remains a buzzing location well into the night, with tables spilling out onto the square.
