The room was tiny, and not in a cute way.
We booked a double room with a double bed.
The reality is that this room should have been a single room with a single bed, but it was way too small for two people. The double bed took most of the space in the room. There wasn't even space to open up one big suitcase, let alone 2 (for 2 people). There was half a meter gap - or less - between the bed and the walls on the sides, barely enough to get in and out of bed. The storage space (e.g. cabinet, hangers) was very minimal, and the remaining free space might have done for one person (barely a chair and a tiny table passage), but certainly not for 2 people who share a room.
There was no kettle in the room and no means of making any coffee or tea. On the positive side, we were eligible for free coffee in the breakfast area free of charge (though breakfast was not included in our deal). Nice, but a poor substitute in case you want a cup of tea later in the day!
Separate from all the above, the powered vent in the tiny shower room (which had no other ventilation opening) did not work. We informed the staff and the response wasn't patient or kind. They supposedly "looked into it" and reported back that there was no problem, it simply "needed more time". The fact is it never got the shower room dry even though we used it very little. I guess it was supposed to either work all the time (very quietly, according to staff) or when the light was on - but it didn't.
