The room was tiny, and not in a cute way. We booked a double room with a double bed. The reality is that this room should have been a single room with a single bed, but it was way too small for two people. The double bed took most of the space in the room. There wasn't even space to open up one big suitcase, let alone 2 (for 2 people). There was half a meter gap - or less - between the bed and the walls on the sides, barely enough to get in and out of bed. The storage space (e.g. cabinet, hangers) was very minimal, and the remaining free space might have done for one person (barely a chair and a tiny table passage), but certainly not for 2 people who share a room. There was no kettle in the room and no means of making any coffee or tea. On the positive side, we were eligible for free coffee in the breakfast area free of charge (though breakfast was not included in our deal). Nice, but a poor substitute in case you want a cup of tea later in the day! Separate from all the above, the powered vent in the tiny shower room (which had no other ventilation opening) did not work. We informed the staff and the response wasn't patient or kind. They supposedly "looked into it" and reported back that there was no problem, it simply "needed more time". The fact is it never got the shower room dry even though we used it very little. I guess it was supposed to either work all the time (very quietly, according to staff) or when the light was on - but it didn't.

With self check-in and check-out, coupled with online booking, there was zero interaction with humans so no “service” to rate. I suppose that keeps rates low but a local’s welcome and ability to help problem-solve or answer questions was missed.

I had a really nice time at this hotel. It’s a no frills hotel, which is very nice and easy to self check in & out. There is a parking garage you can park at right across the street and you are only about a mile from central train station. I would stay here again and I loved Norway!!!

Location was excellent. Room was small which is fine. But, beds were awful. There was no staff at all. A guy inside the vestibule gave us room keys. Then we never saw another soul, save the bar staff. It was like staying in a Hostel. The noise till late at night.

My first room had a funny smell and blinds wouldn’t close it was night time when I arrived so I went downstairs and the bar man was extremely helpful and gave me a new room which was larger than the one I booked which was great but water dripped all night from something whi h may be to do with air conditioning in the ceiling all over floor I didn’t bother to complain as only there two nights and had already moved. Was also very noisy with people talking outside on street . Staff were very helpful and friendly and location was great perfect for meeting spots for trips

Well located in the center of Oslo but the rooms are really too small. I realized it when we arrived and I regretted to have book this hotel. The Karl Johan hotel where we stayed at the end of our trip is way much better.

Unfortunately there are 3 cocktails bars with very loud music in the same block as the hotel that are open until 3:00am most days. Out of 5 nights in the hotel we were only able to sleep 2 nights. Since we had a room with windows to the street it was impossible not to hear the music. Hotel room was a decent size, super clean and comfortable.
