Not sure where the 4 star qualification comes in
Though the person on the night shift when we checked in was wonderful, nothing else about this hotel merits a 4 star rating.
The room was indeed large, but not super clean and lacked amenities (ie: bathrobe, which we had had in every 3 star hotel we stayed at prior).
The spa was a joke - it's billed as a "rooftop spa" and it just a room on the top floor. We booked a 45 minute massage and our masseuses arrived 10 minutes late, didn't give us the massage we asked for and then asked us for a tip at the end.
I wanted to love this hotel, but it's really not what we expected. Like I said, most of the reception staff were great, but it was otherwise a very lackluster stay. I had high hopes, given the hotel manager reached out soon after booking, which was a nice personal touch. We stayed at a different 3 star hotel in Hanoi prior and that was a much better experience all around.
