Can not fault my staff at The George Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and beautifully decorated. The location was only a 15 minute walk into city centre. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff . Room was on the small side but very comfortable and quite modern. Parking is limited if they have a function but staff made an effort to find me a space. Could hear the music from function in room but finished by 9:30 - 10pm. This was my second short stay at The George and was even better than the first time. Lovely room. Great food (excellent kippers at breakfast!). Welcoming and very helpful staff. There was nothing not to like! Next time I’m in Norwich I’ll be choosing to stay here again.

The room was noisy from all the air-con units outside the window. Also got smell from the kitchen extractors when had the window open for fresh air, they need extending by 3m. As for eco why would you change the towels every day on a a 3 night stay. No split bins for recycling as per continent.
