We've stayed here several times. Continental breakfast included hot options (potatoes, eggs, waffles) occasionally. The hotel is walking distance to the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool and Adventure Park. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and a stroll over the pedestrian bridge will get you to the historic downtown area. In summer, you can rent a bike and ride the bike path, and/or get a res to hike Hanging Lake. You can also hike Storm King Mountain to the west. My only complaint is sound insulation isn't the greatest so if there are noisy guests, you may need to call the staff to intervene.

This was my second time staying at this La Quinta. The staff, as was the case last time, very kind, friendly and helpful. The room was no-frills but comfortable and clean. My one and kind of big complaint was that the ice machine outside the room ran all night and was super loud. That mixed with the traffic noise from the highway outside the windows made for a sleepless night. Not ideal when the only reason I was there was to get some sleep.

OMGosh Perfect in so many ways. Perfect location for everything we did - Amtrak station, adventure mountain, hot springs, walking area. Not need to spend 300.00 a night for the Hotel Colorado when this is perfect. Breakfast was a WOW !!!!!
