Flawless.
This was a perfect two-night get away to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The property was beautiful, secluded and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing and set up in a way in which we met and enjoyed the company of another couple. We had a spacious second story room with a double sided fireplace and many windows. We did a wine tasting and felt very spoiled with the attention we received. The staff are friendly and helpful but know how to allow for privacy. The animals around the property were a bonus. We will be back when the weather warms up!

6/10 Good

This property did not have unique decor and it was not worth the price we paid for a night stay. We booked what we thought was a bed and breakfast, yet we were charged an additional $60 for breakfast. We did not know until check out that our stay included a wine tasting but our day was already fully booked. Providing breakfast would have been more acceptable, or a voucher to return for a wine tasting. Breakfast was good, but not excellent. It felt more like a diner spot than a special intimate breakfast with other guests because some tables were separate and some were not. The bed was not comfortable. There was a plastic cover under the sheets, and the mattress seemed to be thin. The bedding was simple and not memorable. We did not have enough towels during the duration and there was not an attendant to ask for more. Overall, we did not feel it was a special place and while the views were lovely, the other amenities were three star at most.

2/10 Poor

Nice and quiet surroundings. Great view and that's where all good ends. Cons: While reserving, was promised partial vineyard view (nothing close to that, view of a parking.Rooms are very outdated. Dirty and oily old furniture (had to wipe, it was all brown). All window frames are wooden and full of of scratches and some disgusting staff. Balcony with no view had a bee hives, could even been there. Holes in the walls, barely attached window screens. Horrible experience, couldn't get out of there. Made my anniversary a living hell. Overpriced for nothing, well maybe just a view.

Wine down
Listed as “upscale B&B” - not sure what was upscale about it. Nice main house and tasting room but not upscale especially since you have to pay extra for breakfast and it doesn’t start until 9 am. No accommodations were available for guests wanting to get an earlier start on the day.

Noticed an ant infestation in the corner of the room, and also the heating system was either broken or something wrong , made loud and unusual noise when it was on, woke me up every 15-20 min it would turn on

Such a lovely spot for a quick getaway. Just a note- the tastings are no longer free for guests like you may see in many past reviews, but we did one nonetheless and glad we did

Gorgeous view, but too warm and loud
The views are stunning and the grounds lovely. The bathroom was not very clean - hair on the floor and in the shower, fan hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Biggest issue was that there is no temperature control in the rooms and they keep the heat at 72 overnight- far too warm to sleep comfortably- the only option is to open a window but the heat vent is over the window so it just triggers the heat. The small fridge in the room is also very loud, cycling on repeatedly through the night. With some simple upgrades, it would be great.

This was a lovely place to stay and relax. My only criticism is that better signing is needed for parking and lighting is needed when it's foggy. Roadside fog lights and markings for driveways are needed.

Youngberg Hill sits atop a hill with sweeping views of the valley. The staff couldn’t be nicer, recommending other wineries to visit and greeting newcomers. Overall great stay!
