Was bitten very badly after 1st night. Reception brushed it off, saying better see doctor. Subsequent check by ISOS doctor said it was likely due to bedbugs.
Unwelcoming reception. Lots of rules & regulations make it seems more a prison camp than a hotel.
Bad sound insulation indicatives of poor construction. Noise from the street every night until early morning, and noise from the corridor means no rest night and day.
Night curtain doesn’t exclude the lights from the new building opposite.
Aircon only inside the room. All public area even guest corridor without aircon.
The new tall building opposite looks directly into the room.
All staffs, including front office manager speak (self-described) poor English. When Housekeeping didn’t clean the room, it was described as misunderstanding due to poor English. When Reception said minibar is free during check- in, then wanted to charge the items during check-out, it was described as misunderstanding due to poor English.
Not recommended.
