While the rooms are similar to other motel rooms Malanda Lodge stands out with its extensive, well maintained gardens and its breakfast facilities in an impressive main building which also serves as a restaurant and reception centre. The room had a lovely big picture window overlooking the gardens, perfect for morning coffee. I enjoyed having a bath available and the hot water fast and steaming. The restaurant was not available due to an upcoming Wedding Party but I'll be sure to try it next time.
