Our stay at Las Palmas was great! The accommodation has a generator which was very helpful during power cut. The pool was clean and lovely. The cocktails were AMAZING! Would absolutely recommended. They were helpful with booking taxis, our next Casa and Colectivo. Thank you!

First class quality/service and exceptional value
Clean, safe, secure and comfortable. This beautiful and cozy place was truly an oasis. The host was warm, welcoming and very informative. The staff were kind and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. From our peaceful morning coffee in the absolutely stunning atmosphere of the outdoor seating area to their excellent recommendations and suggestions regarding the ‘best spots’ around town- we felt we were at home and completely cared for. Thanks to Julio for his kindness, attention and sociability. He kept us amazed and well cared for. Also, the coffee was amazing and served with a friendly smile and kind disposition. Thank you to the chef.

We highly recommend this place if you want a peaceful place in Trinidad. The pool was amazing and the people working there were amazing. They helped us book all we needed while this hotel is about 10 min away from trinidad, they always were able to help with booking taxi, nanny etc. We had breakfast daily and it was pretty standard but good. We had dinner there most night and it was really good. We had the master room with the jacuzzi! It was super large and very confortable. I highly recommend this place if you are solo or family travellers

Las Palmas was an oasis of peace, good food and really really nice stad. Julio was the best and also the owners were very nice and flexible. The pool was very clean and specias. The house is between Trinidad and the beach. You have to take a taxi to both and taxi’s are a bit expensive. But overall the stay was wonderfull.

The staff of the hostal were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were very nice and fresh. The hostal is a bit outside Trinidad but you could get easily to the city with a taxi (6€ one way). The rooms were very clean, but unfortunately no safe was available in our room.

Very quiet hotel, a haven of peace. Very friendly, warm and welcoming staff. Located outside the noise of Trinidad, but Trinidad is still easily accessible by cab, car, etc... The food served on site is excellent, and the cocktails absolutely delicious. The rooms are large and clean. The pool is beautiful. I recommend this place.

Perfect Hostel run by a German. Perfect European kitchen. The only place in Cuba that can make Spaghetti "Al Dente" and real Wiener Schnitzel and other... It was a relief after 2 Weeks of Cuban food to eat like at Home. His hostel was one of the best experience in Cuba as its run with german prefection and Julio, the waiter is a charm. We enjyed the good wine, cocktails and real Parmesan...

My partner and I stayed at Las Palmas for 4 nights and used it as a base to enjoy Trinidad and the area. We were hosted by an excellent team who work tirelessly in the background making sure our stay was comfortable. Taxis are available on request as is a laundry service and the en-suite rooms are cleaned daily. We would thoroughly recommend a stay for its convenience to Trinidad, its affordability and above all to enjoy the peace and quiet and excellent service. We're sure to return

A clean, comfortable and welcoming place to stay with a fabulous pool. They kindly arranged taxis for us into Trinidad and were able to make recommendations as to the local area including snorkelling locally. We ate there one night. The food was really lovely and a good quantity with great service. The mini bar was a great advantage as it was amply filled each day at prices you would pay on the street. They kindly did some laundry for us. Couldn't ask for more. We would return.

The property is huge, a castle about 2 kms away from Trinidad. Taxis 5Euro. Breakfast available, dinner also. Small bar. Friendly staff. Room was sufficient but a little basic. I would have liked a jug to boil water, cotton sheets on the bed and a blanket or duvet. Host was very helpful.

What a lovely place to stay! After reading the previous reviews I wasn't sure we'd made the right choice but it was an absolute sanctuary. Jorg and all the staff are so friendly and Jorg is an incredible chef. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the pool is a very welcome way to cool off at the end of the day. Jorg goes out of his way to help organise taxi's, tours etc. I highly recommend Las Palmas. I don't understand why a previous comment said it was difficult to find ~ it wasn't. It's on the main Casilda Road and the facade looks like a castle. WiFi works well, shower was excellent

The place is far from what is shown in pictures. Possibly a nice (decent) place many years ago but for sure not now. You are entering from a side door that is always open and not from the fake main entrance. Dirty, limited and unpleasant smell.

The mixed reviews are as mystifying as they are absurd, and we’re very lucky we didn’t let them put us off of staying at this delightful place. Unbidden, they upgraded us to a massive suite that could easily be divided into four rooms, complete with hot tub and exclusive terrace. The suite is too big to capture in a photograph, but I've tried here. The place was immaculate, and we saw no trace of the dampness others have reported (despite there being a torrential downpour during our stay). The pool is huge, and kept very clean. The owner is extremely personable and consistently went the extra mile to ensure that we had a good time both on and off his property. His recommendations were just right for us and he made all the arrangements for our various activities, including horseback riding, tours, and a day at the best beach. He’s also an incredible chef. Georg clearly cares a great deal about showing his guests not just a good time, but a memorable experience. Our stay there was the highlight of our trip!
