Lots of charm and character
Wonderful place to stay in the historic district. If you like small hotels that feel homey and with lots of character, then you will like this one. Wonderful courtyard and rooftop patio. Area around Casa Jocotenango was safe and clean. The problem I experienced was the opening of their security door since the manager was responsible to use his cell phone to open it but apparently sometimes he would not "hear" or checked his phone, so I'd to wait.

Location is walking distance to city square and central market and other eateries and businesses. Owner was very accommodating and helpful. we arrived 630 am and since a room was available, he allowed us to check in. He also gave us suggestions on where to eat and places to see. The only problem was the slow drainage in the shower.

No cambian las sabanas y no limpian, hay que llamar al encargado 15 minutos antes para que le abran la puerta para poder entrar, nunca me dieron desayuno continental y cuando llegue con la reservacion no aceptan tarjeta de credito solo cash. EXPEDIA porfavor la proxima vez en un futuro viaje si pueden recomendarme algo mejor. MUCHAS GRACIAS.
