A remote cosy guesthouse ideal for travelers.
A very cosy and comfortable farmhouse. The host was welcoming and thoughtful. Providing us with many necessary amenities. Although it is not modernly finished, it is definitely a recommended stay in a remote area.

This was a great place to stay close to the ring road and was in a very pretty area. We even got to see the Northern Lights while we were there!

This was a beautiful remote location that was perfect for our one night stay while driving around the Ring Road of Iceland. The landscape was breathtaking and secluded, which made for a wonderful and unique stay. Just down the road from an amazing farm restaurant, Jon Ricki! I would highly recommend this location for anyone who wants a unique and beautiful stay while traveling in Iceland!

The staff was very nice but the property was far from Hofn and needed some updating.

Adorable little property out in the middle of nowhere! Town is actually only about 20 min away but was so quiet and peaceful here. Clean. Felt like I got a taste of real icelandic home

This property was clean and neat and updated on the inside (the exterior needed a little updating.). It is set near beautiful mountains and in fields of sheep, with views of a glacier as you are driving in. The pics online that we saw were of a large room with expansive windows. We were in a tiny room with one large window and blank white walls. A little art on the walls would make the room more inviting. This property is about 25 minutes outside of Hofn. Given it is so far from town, some coffee, tea, and breakfast items would have been appreciated. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Nice enough, great location for nature
Great location, nicely situated so you can still get to Hofn for a meal but also enjoy the quiet of nature and have good darkness for viewing the northern lights in the winter.
Room was smaller than we expected, and smelled slightly of paint or something. Very similar to a dorm room, but nothing unlivable, and within the price range we would expect for that in Iceland.

Good stay!
Very clean and modern guesthouse. Quite a ways from Hofn, but a great place to take in all the stars in the sky, or if your luck is better than ours...the northern lights. Off the highway a bit, but easy to locate using Google Maps. We called the owner to check in, but found out that we just needed to enter the location and find our name on one of the rooms. Wi-Fi did not work for any guests, but it was so late that we did not bother calling the host so can't really complain about that.

The room is spacious with a view and the bed is comfortable, that's about all that we enjoy. No wifi despite repeated complaints from different guests, the cooking utensils are not sufficient and the cleanliness of the kitchen is left to the guests who use it, the staff do minimal daily cleaning. The worst is the bathrooms, we woke up to find the sewage of both toilets blocked as well as all the sinks and shower areas flooded.

Situated in the countryside at the foot of a mountain. Fully equipped kitchen including a fridge with a freezer! Comfortable room with a table and chairs if you'd like to eat in your room. Two bathrooms for 6 rooms (potentially 12 people) posed its challenges at times but we still loved our stay here.

Bathroom lock from hell.
Perfect for a night stay if your expectations are low. Just two twin beds and a folding chair in a very small room. Shared bathroom with a very tricky lock that my wife couldn't negotiate resulting with her being locked in for about 10minutes trying to open. Had all other guests worried she was panicking inside the bathroom.
