Incredible experience!! The host was amazing and so friendly! It was an absolute treat to stay in this small palace and was perfect for our family to spend time together in the very comfortable and luxurious suites. Spacious, beautiful rooms and great place to stay
The riad is beautiful and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Everyone is very helpful and attend to details. It’s walking distance to the Portuguese quarter and the beach. The breakfast was really tasty!

A stunning hidden gem of a traditional riad, a former governors house with with only 5 or 6 exsquisite rooms each depicting breathtaking tiling, archways, seating areas and alcoves. The receiving great room and gardens are stunning. The hostess greeting and breakfast setting and presentation was of royal standards. The birds, herons and fish of the central gardens offer a tranquil central garden experience few spas could match. They accomodated our very late check-in, and thank you "Rashid" for assistance for nearby parking and luggage assistence.

Inside the Riad is gorgeous. The small lily pond in the center was serene surrounded by other plants and trees. The reception was very welcoming and helpful when determining where to visit El Jadida. It was a little bit noisy during the night, but overall the property was a hidden gem within the city.

Beautiful road located right in the middle of El Jadida. Within walking distance to the cistern. It is located on a pedestrian only road, but if you contact the hotel before arrival they will tell you where to park. The staff were attentive and made sure our room was ready for our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the spread at breakfast! The rooms and common areas are beautifully decorated.

Not only was this the best property we stayed at in Morocco, but it was hands down the best accommodation I've ever experienced! We stayed in a large family suite and extended our visit. The room was absolutely stunning, the staff were friendly and always available. The serene courtyard helped us feel miles away from civilization - it was the perfect start to our week long Moroccan vacation. We were able to decompress before our adventure. The city of El Jadida was also wonderful because it wasn't filled with tourists.

Charm and Elegance
This is an exceptional place, the atmosphere is total peace and calm, the suites are stunning, breakfast was cooked to order with lots of high quality choice and very tasty. I felt treated like a very special guest, the whole experience was just that, a real experience, i only wish i could have stayed longer. The general manager was welcoming and helpful, and gave a lovely insight into the Riad and its illustrious past. The only thing more perfectly elegant and beautiful than the Riad itself was the charming owner who could not have been more personable and hospitable. I could not fault it.

Unbelievable Stay
I never would have dreamed such an amazing space would exist and we would have an opportunity to stay in a ancient Governor's Villa. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The traditional suite was just gorgeous. The tub was actually luxurious and the breakfast in the living room was delightful. It is a destination spot for sure. If food was served throughout the day, we could have just stayed in the Villa for days.

Spectacular, idyllic, wonderful, simply beautiful!
This was my fourth trip to Morocco, and having stayed in several riads, I can say this was by far the most beautiful, and a perfect place to take my wife on a surprise honeymoon trip. The riad itself is immaculately decorated and designed, and it really does feel as if one has taken a step back in time to stay in Moroccan palace. It has been tastefully and beautifully restored, and has a quite spectacular courtyard garden. We stayed in the Royal Suite, which is simply the most beautiful suite I have ever stayed in - every wall has intricate carvings, the bathroom is an octagonal wonder, and to be honest, it feels unlike staying in a hotel at all. The owner Angelo was extremely welcoming over email the moment we had booked, and the staff we met, Hafid and Sara, were wonderfully accommodating at all times. Having picked up food from the market for lunch, a table was instantly laid for us the moment we returned to the riad, or on another occasion, coffee was brought over to our terrace in the morning without even requesting it, simply to make us feel at home. It's hard to speak of this place highly enough, it was simply the best stay I've had anywhere in the world. El Jadida itself is far from a tourist trap, and a lovely place to explore on one's own without being bothered, whether a walk amidst the faded grandeur of the portuguese citadel, or along the red sand beach for miles on end. Thank you so much to everyone at Riad Dar El Malaika for making our honeymoon unforgettable!

Fabulous
Following AppleMaps directions, we turned off the main street down a narrow alley and didn't readily see Riad Dar El Malaika, so we asked a man walking out of his house for help. He didn't know the riad, but started knocking on doors until we found 26 Rue du Docteur Blanc. We were welcomed by the amiable and helpful Abel and thoroughly enchanted by the elegant, old, and beautifully maintained riad, which is built around a wonderful garden with two fountains. We were shown to the Gardenia room on the ground floor, which had high cielings and amazing plaster scroll work and we spent a very comfortable two days there, enjoying both our room and the garden as well as the peace and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and moroccan tea available anytime upon request. Both the Cite Portugaise and the local souk were within easy walking distance and there was a grocery store and ATM a block away. While the neighborhood isn't fancy, it felt very safe and we were able to park our car on the street (for only 15 dirham/day). The Riad Dar El Malaika is a real find and a very special place to stay.

Where kings and queens stay over night!
It is like a fairytale- every detail in this house is constructed wirh style. It is the pure art of moroccon architecture into every detail. A true pleasure for the eye. The warm welcome of the owners and it‘s staff made our stay unforgettable. The breakfast and dinner is excellent. Plus they have been spoiling us wirh the best morrocon mint tea ever. A true dream comes through. We can recommend it to the most to give yourself a chance to stay there.
