We headed over to Miju House early in the morning the next day, we were greeted with a warm smile from the owner of the place, although our room wasn’t ready at the time, since we arrived 4 hours before the check in time, he still let us used the bathroom and shower in the other room to freshen up, which I offered to pay the cleaning fee for his inconvenience, that’s only fair.
Our room was very clean and tidy when we arrived, it is equipped with everything we needed, from hairdryer to drinkable water filter. The design is contemporary yet comforting. It’s a newly renovated building located in a quiet neighborhood in the city centre. Only two minute walk away from the closest subway station on Line 7, very easy to navigate to even for foreigners like us.
The best word I can use to describe the Miju House is friendly. The owner not only let us have food and drink from the fridge in the communal kitchen, he even made us cocktails and tea when we come back from an exhausting day of exploring the city. Although the owner doesn’t speak very fluent English, but it’s more than enough for us to communicate, and we never felt more welcomed at an accommodation.
You might spend a little bit of time finding the building for the first time, since it’s hidden in a residential area not far from the main street, inside a gate, look for the yellow neon sign at the second story level. You’ll find it. And You’ll find the Miju House pleasantly surprising.
