Don’t expect to use the TV outside of a couple of channels, nothing worked. YouTube rarely workes, screen sharing never worked. Other than that, a very pleasant place to stay.

Liked: Overall soft and helping gesture by all staff. Rooms are automated using IoT very interesting, Hotspring bath facility available within the hotel (not sure whether it is natural or just re-heated) Seriously Needs Improvement: Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. Consuming the same breakfast every single day is really boring and makes guests lose appetite. Chose this hotel 1st time after reading reviews on breakfast but no-one talked about daily change. I guess they were all short-stay guests. Second, the taste & quality of breakfast is really average in comparison to Japanese culture. I am kind of surprised by the taste offered at the price charged. Not even a Single dish is changed. For Business customers like me who stay for a long duration like 2 weeks, is not worth paying for breakfast and would rather choose other better hotels who can at least focus on providing good quality and tasty breakfast. Japanese cuisine has many varieties so I am not sure why the Chef or the Hotel owner is restricting themself. I guess a focus on Quality is needed than just pure quantity. I have booked again for 2 weeks in Jan 2020, I hope the Hotel Owner or Manager makes some improvements as I am visiting again Feb and March for 3 weeks each time and definitely would not prefer the same breakfast every day.

More than a business hotel
I really enjoyed my two stays at Super Hotel Lohas Musashi Kosugi. I stayed once for 2 days with a friend and then once for 4 days with my mom this past month. With my friend, I stayed in the bunk-bed/loft room, and with my mom, I stayed in the double-bed-room. The loft-room is very narrow, but since we were just using the room for sleeping, it wasn't a big deal. If we had more luggage, I think it would have been difficult. The double-bed room is much roomier and suitable for people with more luggage. Overall, I felt the quality of the hotel was really great. I liked being able to use the tablet to control the room's settings. I also liked the public bath (despite the strong smell of chlorine) and the 200-yen laundry was extremely convenient. The included breakfast was delicious. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The location, for me, was extremely convenient. The staff also offered a variety of amenities including face masks and different pillows to choose from. The room itself was equipped with a mini-fridge, hair-dryer, free wifi, and the usual toiletries. I also enjoyed the views from the 6th and 9th floor. The only downside for me was the polyester/non-breathable blanket gets extremely hot, so we had to sleep with air-conditioning on. I would recommend the hotel switching to something more breathable. My expectation was for it was a regular "business hotel," but it was much more than that. I would stay again next time I visit Kawasaki/Tokyo!

New, clean, great location, friendly hotel
Stayed here for two weeks to attend a wedding. Great new hotel, so it was very clean and modern. Large rooms for Japan standards. We had two beds for my wife, 2 year old son, and myself. The beds were basically adjoined, so it was like having a king bed for the 3 of us. Awesome buffet breakfast, freshly cooked food, focusing on fresh local vegetables, both salad and in Japanese style dishes. We stayed here a while so we got to try lots of different dishes, and they were all superb. Most of the cooked dishes changed daily, so it didn't get too repetitive, though the staples remained the same day to day. The coffee was amazing! The hotel also had a pillow "buffet" where you can choose from a variety of different pillows to use for sleep, with a range of firmness and heights to suit any style, and were all labelled. Pajamas were also provided, Japanese robe style. There is a natural hot spring public bath, separate for both men and women, which was also great, open from 3pm to 9:30am. Coin laundry is available, 200 yen per wash, with free dryer use, and even laundry detergent was provided for free. You could get "prizes" for not using the toothbrushes provided each day and returning them to the front desk, as well as not having your room cleaned or not changing your towels, prices included snacks and bottled water. Staff were very friendly, we could use the high chair in the dining hall any time. Overall highly recommended!
