8/10 Very good

The room was great and the breakfast and staff were very good! Only problem I had was that on the website it stated shuttle service, yet I come to find out the day before my departure it was a service not provided by hotel but contracted outside I did not feel comfortable with that so I used an Uber to take me to the airport!
Small park a block away from Hotel Kali Ciudadela has reference to many museums

10/10 Exceptional

We really really enjoyed our stay. Everything from the staff to the breakfast buffet was exceptional. The family suite was very clean and comfortable. The location might not be convenient for some tourists as it is not walking distance from attractions, restaurants or shopping.

Not the quietest place, but everything else was 5 stars. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast hours were great. The room and bathroom was nice and clean, especially the shower! Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cheap on coffee ☕️ but excellent location & parkin

My stayed was fine, I extended my stay from 4 nights to 5 but the front desk staff was still only ok to stayed in the same room or to give me a early check-in for the new room… other than that everything was fine .. . A little bith “cheap@ for coffee they gave you only one cup per stay (we stayed 5 nights) per room even if you book a family room, But we like the location, parking and the family room, Thanks

Very convenient, close to Metro Balderas. Good breakfast. Room 8 is a bit awkward, no window.

Reasonable and clean

Nice hotel for the price. Front desk staff was very friendly, helpful, and spoke English very well. Had a bad neighbor the first night that blarred music at 6 am, fortunately they left. We used the laundry service, service was quick and very reasonable. The included breakfast was pretty good, nice to have chilaquiles every day. My only complaint is it seemed to take quite a bit of time for refills of food and coffee. Location was good as well, nice to have a market for basics and nice little cafes and coffee places within a short walking distance. Also very close, walking distance to Palacio Bella de los Artes and many other museums
Jean, 7-night trip

Nice staff, some of them are able to communicate in English. We were provided a huge and clean room with complimentary breakfast that rotated different dishes daily and offered very fresh juices.
Tam, 7-night trip

8/10 Very good

The hotel was as expected, everything was clean and easy. It can be a bit noisy, but not more than other hotels in a touristic area. Breakfast was simple, but works if you’re in a rush!
Sara, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Stayed 3 nights. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Most of the staff members were very nice. The room was excellent, it’s a big plus when beds and pillows are confortable. Breakfast was included and the food was delicious. The only downside was that on chech-out day the elevator was broken and we had 3 big luggages to carry down the stairs.
Ariana, 3-night trip

A jewel of a hotel

The hotel was wonderful, very clean, comfortable (firm bedding), and centrally located, close to the artesanal market of La Ciudadela. It was also very quick to go from the hotel to the nearest subway station, Balderas. The service at the hotel was wonderful and all of the staff was extremely professional and friendly. The included breakfast was very complete. It included eggs, Mexican sweet breads, cereals, fruit, savory daily sides that rotated, and other staples such as pancakes. Would I stay again? Absolutely!
Marcello, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The hotel was excellent for the price. The room and facilities were modern. The air conditioner was very quiet (though it is not needed often due to the pleasant weather and window that opens). The breakfast was good too, I liked that they had fresh fruit and ypgurt everyday, plus eggs, pancakes, and chillaquilles. There was alsp 24/7 espresso and americano in the lobby, and a vending machine with snacks and beers. There were multiple water bottle filling stations on every floor, which was very nice so we did not need to buy bottled water as often. The staff were very kind and helpful too. We also used the laundry service one day and the items were all returned clean and folded with nothing missing. The hotel location is conveniently located, next to many markets, street vendors, cafes, and shops. It is about a 15 minute walk to Alameda Park, the most historic park in the city, and famous spots like the Palacio de Belles Artes. It is also a 10 minute walk away from Arena Mexico where you can see Lucha multiple times per week. The area arpund the hotel is a little dirty, and can feel not very nice after dark. But we did not feel unsafe at any point. It just happens to be near many mechanics shops and other stores that are for normal working people. This is not a problem for the conveneint location and nice hotel with an affordable price. I would stay again and recomend to others to stay in this hote.
Jasper Leigh, 9-night trip

6/10 Good

Overpriced with low quality breakfast

I think the hotel is overpriced for what they give. The breakfast was not good without any variety of veggies at all. The elevator didn't work exactly at the day i arrived and i needed to go up the stairs with my luggage. The room was fine, the shower so so. The location is nice if you wanna be close to the historic center, but not recommended if you wanna be close to restaurants and nice places to go for dinner. I recommend to do a better search for other hotel at the same price with a better quality for what you pay
Niro, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Compared to its price/cost, this is a 5 stars hotel. Let’s start with what the best things about the hotel was cleaned every day, air conditioner is awesome, shower 🚿 had its private place with a seating, hot water comes in seconds, green lights behind washroom mirror were super cool especially at night, big TV in the upper corner, comfy bed and pillows, nice gym, water stations on every floor beside the elevator, parking, super yummy buffet breakfast, friendly staff but most importantly: free freshly brewed coffee ☕️ in the lobby. The buffer breakfast was yummy and they changed the main food every day … you are guaranteed to eat western or Mexican food along with variety of delicious freshly cut fruits. The couple of small challenges with this hotel: wifi is very weak in the room (you need to go to the couch beside the elevator or main lobby for best wifi. Another challenge is location… it is surrounded by mainly old residential buildings and couple of them deserted. Though, the hotel is less than 10 minutes walking from the famous Alameda Central and Palacio de Bellas Artes
Bashar, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

I was not impressed by the location of the hotel, although convenient to walk to the historic centre, the surroundings were not pretty. Extremely noisy area. The hotel is also noisy. The beds were very hard. Front desk staff struggle communicating in English; only some made an effort by using GoogleTranslate. Cleaning efforts were observed and could smell the use of disinfectant. Only one hand towel, no face cloths, one glass and one paper coffee cup given (there were 2 of us and we had a premium room!). The VIP perk was provided albeit reluctantly. Choices were soft drink, small bottle of Corona or a shot of tequila. Would I return? No. Would I recommend? Not really. Many other hotels to choose from in Mexico Coty.
