We had a truly unique experience in this Ryokan: wonderful people who welcomed us like family, delicious meals - best we've had in Japan, marvellous room and baths, and the attention to detail - they brought a present to my partner because it was her birthday a few days earlier. Wonderful mountain ryokan and onsen near Takayama
Wonderful cheerful hospitality throughout our stay here. Kaiseki meals were outstanding! Our room with private outdoor onsen and mountain view was a perfect enchanting respite and recharge halfway through our whirlwind tour of Japan. Lovely!

Great experience in such nice small onsen hotel. We stayed in the room with outdoor private pool to enjoy the relaxing onsen any time. Our dinner and breakfast were served in a private room, and the room has provided the toys to kids so that we could enjoy the food. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend if you are driving and wish to escape from a busy city.
