This hotel is located pretty much right outside the train station which is convenient but also located where all the junkies, pickpockets and beggars are also loitering so be aware. I did not feel safe going to the hotel but once inside the building the hotel is located within my perception of the place got better. The rooms are clean and updated. Our room was very small and cramped. I did not find it to be noisy even though right outside the city never sleeps. The free breakfast was lacking compared to what is offered at similar properties but still something for free is always welcome so I won’t completely bash it. Instead of paying for coffee out of a machine in the hallway we opted for McDonald’s located right across the street instead. We stayed here so we could visit Pompeii and Herculaneum which was a horrible location for doing that but if you’re looking to visit Naples itself is fine I guess. We also wanted a laundry facility which is not located on the property as advertised. Check in was easy and simple, the gentleman was friendly and provided information about the surrounding area. To be honest my boyfriend really disliked staying here but I think it more had to do with the area in general and the feeling of am I really staying somewhere safe. We left after one night with nothing bad happening so perhaps it’s all the bad YouTube videos and blogs that warn of the bad areas of Italy that really should be to blame for our feelings on this property.

The area was positively disgusting - very poor and looked extremely unsafe. We did not stay there so we forfitted the money and stayed at a nice hotel in the Chiaia area.....MUCH better. The elevator was ridiculous to get two adults in with bags......can't imagine going out for dinner while staying there. Terrible.....

Great and very friendly staff! Came out to find me when Expedias location was wrong. The hotel is not easy to find and the sign is very small. Maybe a foot square and lost among other signs like it. Look for the tall yellow building to the right side of the square in front of the train station. Look for the Mexican restaurant and the bigger door in the corner. The hotel in on the 2nd floor.

JUST A HOLE IN TH WALL WITH A FEW ROOMS. VERY SEEDY NEIGHBORHOOD. OUR PLANE WAS VERY LATE AND THE OWNER INITIALLY REFUSED TO LET US IN. WE ARE STANDING IN FRNT OF A LOCKED STEEL DOOR ON THE 3RD FLOOR OF A RUN DOWN BUILDING WITH OUR BAGS. FINALLY HE DEMANDED $20 DOLLARS MORE TO LET US IN. I WOUD NOT SEND MY WORST ENEMY TO THIS DUMP. The property itself was safe. We had to call the host to get the code to enter the building, call again to get the code into the lobbY and then we could also lock our room. But outside was very sketchy. The “buffet” breakfast were two packaged danishes and 2 biscotti 2 waters and two juice and you could make yourself a cup of instant coffee. Couldn’t shower because the shower wand was broken.

Rooms are very nice. The owner is really great, friendly, speaks good English and very helpful on what to do and where to go. The area surrounding the hotel is not the greatest. Somewhat dirty streets, sketchy people and not a very safe feeling. Other areas of Napoli are very nice so venture out. This hotel is also very close to the train station so that’s very handy. We only stayed one night in Napoli so this hotel was a good choice for us. The owner also helped getting a private driver to the airport which was also great.

Best hotel I experienced in Italy! A quick summary: - Great location - Friendly staff - Clean, modern and bright room - Breakfast provided Location is very convenient, just 1 block from the train station with Trentalia, the metro and Circumvesuviana. Saw some reviews about it being harc to find, but with Google maps it was easy. Just exit the train station on the right side, cross the street and go past the bakery/coffee shop; it's the green gate. The neighbourhood isn't the best in sense that the people are lower income, but we did NOT see drugs, girls by the hour or the like. The building itself is locked and we came back late (10-11pm) every night and felt safe. There is a convenience store and bakery just downstairs which open very late (at least until midnight), but not too many nice restaurants around. It's a bit of a walk, but there is a really good pizzeria (good seafood and pasta too) in the neighbourhood you could try, O'Marenaro. Like many small hotels in Italy, it is a single unit located within a larger building, and this unit has a reception and 5 individual rooms. Our room for 3 people had a queen and double bed, as well as a lounger. This place is run by Ettore, who is SUPER friendly (but not overbearing). He gave us lots of tips on what to see in Naples and how to get to what was on our itinerary, complete with pictures on his computer to show us what we could see at each place. He also arranged for a cab to the airport for us. He isn't at the front desk

A nightmare. Don't go.
Kids loud crying in the middle of night. Guest (or may be a long term tenant) allowed their kids to make loud noise on the hallway. The door of the hotel room is virtually an empty box which allows the loud noise coming into the room. In the early morning, someone from that same room cooked some heavy smoking garlic stuff in their room. The choking smoke came through the vent and made us coughing a lot. No manager in this tiny home-based hotel in the entire night. The city was pretty bad anyway.

Close to railway station
This is a wonderful little place to stay and very secure. We were warned by our taxi driver that it was not a safe place to walk around at night so we found a wonderful place to eat and get back to our accommodation before dark. It is just a 2 minute walk from the train station so was so convenient for our needs as we had an early train to Rome. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Our needs were easily met and we did not find the area scary at all. Breakfast was not what we were used to but adequate to get us started for the day. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if the need arose.
