Out dated but very clean for the money!!!
Easy check-in, not much service required or present, but all in all this was a very nice older place to stay for the evening, we had a very nice stay! I would recommend this to anyone needing a quick cost effective stay, very pleased!

Clean room, close to town.
When we arrived the fellow at the desk was preparing to leave for the day but checked us in right away. The lodge is older, but has been cared for pretty well. Our toilet had issues with solids, and the ice machine was locked in the office, so we couldn't get any ice. Other than that, what you see is what you get. Clean room and bathroom. Nice staff at check in. Close to town and reasonably priced. Maybe let folks know to get any ice they need before office is locked? Would stay there again.

Vending
I have complaints about the room it self or the staff. What little interaction I had with them they seemed friendly enough. The only complaint that I have is that there no vending machines and the ice machine was in the office that stayed locked and you had call the number on the door to get someone to open it and if you were lucky they were on site. Other than that we had nice quiet weekend. Also don't expect delivery. Every place we tried to order from said we were out of ranch but, that not the hotels fault.

Musty smelling rooms.
Both rooms we had smelled musty! They had old furnishings, cob webs ran between some of the furniture.

Super sweet old fashioned motor lodge. Clean and fresh rooms. It feels like the 1950’s here. The proprietor is very kind. I love it.

It was okay. Nothing to write home about. The location relative to Nashville and Brown County State Park was great. The room was clean, but dated, which wasn't a dealbreaker. The outside property needs some upkeep...trees and bushes need trimming, cigarette butts aplenty. There was no staff available on site when we arrived...we had to call a number and they told us the key was under the mat, which was strange and offputting. No amenities, pool, continental breakfast...no frills. A pretty basic motel overall, but the price was good in comparison.

We came late, the owner made sure we got into the room safe. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us. It was very quiet. We enjoyed the property and will be staying at one of the places again. The owner was extremely nice and helpful the next morning on places to go and visit and eat!! Thank you!

Very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. Pizza with fully developed mold in the refrigerator, dirty wash rag in the shower, and McDonald’s wrapper under the dresser.

I really liked this motel. It's cute and dated which was a plus for me. True, the property is not immaculately maintained and it's next to an abandoned parking lot but it's not scary. The location is a short drive out of town in a slightly rural part which was great for me. There's not a typical staffed check-in desk (you have to call to get your instructions) but I had no problems with that. My room was cute and quiet. It had all the amenities I needed. Not updated in terms of furniture or decor but who cares. Everything worked fine. Chairs to sit in outside the door. Easy access to load and unload the car. I really enjoyed my stay and felt safe and satisfied with the value for the price.

There was no one on the property for the two days we stayed. We had to call to find were the key was. There was no way to get clean towels, there was no smoke detectors, the fire extinguisher was two years since inspection.

Too expensive for what it is
Overpriced for what it is. The room was outdated which is ok but it smelled musty and was hot. As far as cleanliness we found old wrappers and leaves under the bed and dead bugs on the floor. The lobby was closed for check in and out. We had to call to get into our room. It is a motor lodge which I did not know until arriving.

Overnight at the Green Valley Lodge
Cute place, with nice staff. In good shape for an older motel. Loved that every room had a different decor/theme.

Has a small cottage type feel, rooms kinda on the small side, it was clean, a little bit dated inside. Light fixtures, sink, trim etc older but clean. Had a mini fridge ( didnt work well if at all) and small microwave. Bathroom was very small and a new shower head was way overdue. Beds were not made everyday and towels were not restocked (wasnt an issue for me but if u expect that) There was nobody at front desk had to call number but was answered fast and taken care of. For the money I think it was a nice place and would stay at again. If your expecting a 5 star hotel look elsewhere.
