Pedro was extremely helpful and accommodating. We arrived 2 hours later than our ETA. He went to meet us at the McDonald's when we could not find the way to his apartment and got into the car to navigate. There are 42 steps up to his apartment, so we decided to leave most of our luggage on the ground floor. Pedro even offered to carry all our luggage up the stairs, and brought up our hand carry luggage!
The apartment was very clean and well air conditioned. The upstairs bedroom has a small balcony that overlooks the city. Stunning view!
Pedro stocked the fridge with water and juice, and left baked goods, biscuits, tea, and coffee for breakfast. The bathroom was well stocked with toilet paper and other toiletries.
We would definitely stay there again!
We recommend not driving up to the apartment, as you have to drive through old town. Instead, park at the lot by the train station and walk your luggage up.
