A old hotel which is mostly shut down , has some rooms which are clean and comfortable, but you come in off side street and side door. I wouldn't want to stay here as a women.

2/10 Poor

The most bizarre place I have ever encountered. There are no food or drink facilities at all and the room was basic in the extreme. It seems that 40-50 years ago it was a thriving hotel and restaurant but now looks and feels derelict. Do not ever book this place, I felt very unsafe as I think we were the only people in the building. I cannot understand why Expedia still have it on their website. It really needs to be closed for good. If it hadn’t been so late in the day when we arrived we would have left before we went inside.

Oh no
Got to hotel and thought omg what have I booked, place was closed, in darkness and a sign on door to phone to get let in. Had to be let in through the side door, stairs up,stairs down, doors n corridors. Knackered by the time we got to the room. Bed was clean but very very soft. Mirror broken. Wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

An odd place but a comfy bed for a night
A freezing day in February. Single room with comfortable bed with a n effective duvet. Room was a bit cold but slept well enough. Shower small but with great water pressure and lots of hot water.

I needed a hotel on route to the ferry and choose to stay here. The gentleman who met me on arrival was very helpful and pleasant, unfortunately the bed was not comfy and the noise from the street (people out drinking in the pubs) meant that the 6 hours sleep I was hoping to enjoy was greatly reduced. The room was £120 but to be fair I think £50-60 would be a better price.
