The hotel staff are very nice and helpful; and the breakfast from Chef Luis is excellent. The hotel is located equidistant between Parque Santa Lucia and the Plaza Grande where there is a good selection of restaurants and shopping. I felt very comfortable at this hotel and the surrounding neighborhood.

They even offered us a room upgrade at no additonal cost, but we reluctantly declined to have a room right next to the deliciously clean and refreshing pool. The restaurarant was excellent, room and lobby decor was well appointed, and desk staff assisted us with restaurant suggestions and reservations.

Luxury Hotel, Quiet, Good location
Comfortable small hotel. Great service, best restaurant in town, quiet, good beds and pillows. Air conditioning. A 10 minute walk from Plaza Grande, which we walked to at least once a day. The room that we had (the suite, which is just a large room) had some light coming through the black out shade (maybe they will fix this soon.) Nice pool area. I would definitely stay there again.

Overall a good experience. Rooms clean and modern. The place has a chic feel. They could add deck chairs to the pool area, and at times you could hear noises from the next door guests, meaning walls/glass let noise thru.

Chilled 24 hours in Merida
Amazingly cool, boutique hotel just a few blocks (10 mins walk) from the main square. Lovely pool, lobby and bar area. Staff very friendly. No parking or valet service available. We left car outside the property (only overnight) but staff seemed a bit muddled as to whether we might get a ticket etc. Otherwise all was wonderful

We stayed the first night in the room "Casa venado" very small room with AC too big for the room size and we were kind of crammed. After changing to a larger room we had a much better experience. Friendliest staff!

Upscale and Serene
This is such a sweet botique hotel. Beautiful design elements throughout: soaring ceilings, rich woods, art, tile, stone, & frosted glass brought together in a way that blends upscale modern elements with traditional Mexican. Organic body products, super fluffy robes and good towels. Excellent comfy bedding. Once you’re inside the street door, all of the traffic noise fades away. It was serenely quiet. We found it an easy walk to restaurants and the Paseo Montejo. But, the real kicker is the staff...they are beyond wonderful and caring. During our week there, they responded immediately to any and all requests and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well-cared for. The only negative I could possibly say is that some of the rooms are small. However, there is a beautiful courtyard for early morning coffee or evening drinks and a very comfortable lounge area for relaxing and reading. We have stayed in some great hotels, but this one will definitely stand out! Thank you, Ya’ax!
