Hotel needs to be updated. It was overpriced for what was provided. I change my booking and stayed only one night and even though the price on web had dropped hotel insisted on charging me rate supposedly send by Expedia. As I checked in at night in a new city chose not to look for other options that night for safety reasons. Stayed one night and moved on.

This hotel is very affordable and in a great location near restaurants, shops, and night life. The staff is wonderful. But it is a bit noisy because it is located on a very busy street and the water pressure in the shower varied. On hot days, the fact that we had air conditioning was really great.

good hotel but don't choose rooms on Reforma Av.
It's the third time for me at AparHotel Suites Reforma;
I like it, but this time the room was very small and the windows was on the street Reforma which is very busy avenue and the noise of the traffic was annoying (last 2 times room was bigger and not on Reforma Avenue).
AS alwasy it was clean and the service is good.

A giant dissapointment
I saw many changes in this hotel. The hotel I recall when my children were small has dissapointed me. Staff was nice except for management. For the area it should be more updated. I saw no railing for elderly people . The gym is sad it uas no appeal to attract. At nigjts people are loud .
Would I return Definetly not. ..

Needs improvement
I chose this hotel from past experience where I used to stay with my girls when they were smaller. What a disappointed in its appearance. The gym is sad. They have no railing for older people to go down.or up.
Asf or the restaurant staff very caring. The security always greeted you.with a snile The front desk staff always greeted you with a smile. House keeping friendly and accommodates you. Management needs a personality check. Concern about a free breakfast not included in your package before making a customer feel welcome. I and my children were very displeased with her attitude. I ask why does hotel.com say free breakfast and she fights you for it. Is it going in her pocket I ask? Would I stay again here no.
The hotel is not where it used to be years ago. Coming from New York and you see classy hotels sad management makes it uncomfortable place to stay.
In general staff made you feel welcome except for management.Sad to see a hotel that had beautiful memories for me as a parent change .
The area is nice though. The staff is friendly. I do commend them for doing their best to keep the hotel clean . Except for management needs to be more friendly and caring.
That jeans that I got 100% of the kindness and good service that a Guatemalan will offer. Apart hotels Reforma are located in a very nice and safe part of town. But they do not overprice their location and facilities. Internet works great, too!

Worst hotel
This hotel doesn't accept Expedia reservations, when you go and tell them what Expedia offered to you they lie and say that this rate doesn't include this and that, as low as to fight you for free breakfast. This time I was told the Expedia reservation didn't count and that I had to pay for an additional person when in the Expedia site clearly states one or two person reservation. The the person at the front des when on saying that this reservation didn't include breakfas and that the rate should be higher due to taxes. It was not easy checking in this time.
When I got to the noisy room, near the workers quarters I found there was no hot water. I was tired when to sleep and in the morning more noise of people talking really loud and no water.
Up on check out, the guy charge me again even tough I told him a paid in the internet with my credit card. He said no that Expedia didn't charge for the rooms. So who is deceiving whom. Expedia or this hotel.

Great quality-cost balance
I knew this hotel when was opened in the 80s. It maintains its elegance. Employees are very kind and location is perfect. close to offices, restaurants and on the Reforma Avenue for having nice walks. this hotel is perfect for those who just need a place to rest after work and business. I do not need swinging pools or .big gyms. I just need a nice place, well located, comfortable and with kind service. This hotel has these all.

Excellent location but street noise.
We enjoyed our stay at Apart Hotel Suites Reforma for a couple of reasons. 1) it's a 10 minute free shuttle ride to the Guatemala City airport from the hotel. 2) It's located in a desirable neighborhood of other well known hotel chains like Holiday Inn and Radisson, 3) The hotel is locally owned and kept up very nicely even though it is 40 years old.. The elevator was out of service when we arrived but the staff carried out bags to the 3rd floor.4) There were several nice restaurants in the neighborhood including a Hard Rock Cafe but we chose Borgo Rotondo, an Italian restaurant /cafe just around the corner from the hotel.Ask at the hotel desk because we did also. There are a couple of quaint local shops near and also a dynamite patisseria or bakery across from the restaurant. It also serves light meals and other tourist related items. They sell all kinds of bakery items; many of which we never saw before. Definitely, take a "look-see".there.
The main downside was the street noise coming from Avenida Reforma, a major boulevard in Zone 10 of the city. The motorcycle muffler noise ran all night long because our room faced the main street. The a/c worked very well also.
