Great location in the centre of Panama's lovely old city. Walking into the hotel the impression is very positive as the entrance lobby has been well restored. However, the service is terrible and the rooms are not accurately represented on the web. We were put in a very small room in the middle of the redecoration of the hallways. This meant there were trip hazards everywhere and there was a horrible smell of paint. It took an hour to get the room changed. Housekeeping was very sloppy and the tour we booked through the hotel should have had an English speaking guide but he didn't really speak English. So beware booking this hotel or booking through the hotel.

Fantastic Hotel!
The location is ideal. The lobby is beautiful. Loved the live music. The complimentary massage was heavenly. Views from pool are amazing. The only negative was the bedding. Very thin top comforter. The room was freezing upon arrival. Despite turning off AC, I had to wear the bathrobe to bed. I would request more bedding.
