The resort is a bit outdated. My bathroom had water damage. The maid service never replaced the shower gel when it was clearly gone. Some of the employees behavior was as if they didnt want to be at work. They were understaffed in some areas. Service was delayed at some bars. Some of the towels were dingy and sheets stained.

There are two things I didn’t like. One was it supposed to be all inclusive there was only two beers in the room and limit two beers per day for the room. I asked twice for a bottle opener and not even once did I receive it. I had to go and purchase one. Other wise it was a beautiful resort. Make sure to make your reservation the day you get there because it book really fast. The reservation is for your dinner.

This is the second Hideaway that I’ve stayed at. I wanted to visit all of them because of the wonderful time that I had at the one in Negril Jamaica. I’m sorry to say that I was not impressed by St Lucia’s property. The place was dirty and the elevators weren’t working almost the whole time we were there. We could never reach the desk from our room no one would ever pick up so we had to walk there every time we needed something. The staff were nice but the vibe team was not vibing. I loved the island but the property was not great. I guess my expectations were too high from my last experience.

It advertised as an adults only resort and its not..... kids were running around everywhere.... You had to confine yourself to a corner of the resort where it was adults only.... But kids were all over the restaurants and everywhere else...straight up false advertising.... entertainment was a disaster....starting late...canceled for no reason....most of it was karoake... or a singer singing over karoake tracks.....fire show was decent until it morphed into a limbo contest.....

This was our second time at the Royalton Saint Lucia. The food is amazing! We love the multiple restaurants. Our favourite was Calypso. They also have 24/7 room service included your stay which was awesome. We liked staying in the hideaway and having a separate part of the hotel with pool. We wish the entertainment was better. Many of the shows were the same as when we were here 2 years ago, particularly the Michael Jackson routine. Other than the foam party, everything was pretty low key. Quiet. Our room did have 2 water leaks coming from the ceiling. Maintenance came right away for the first one but took hours to come the second time (chunks of the plaster were falling from the ceiling because the leak was so bad, luckily it was above the bath tub). There were a lot of people on the beach trying to sell you items. We would recommend this hotel👍

it was nice and relaxing. i didn’t like how some of the restaurants had restrictions. Most of the staff was nice and respectful but there was two that were standoffish. one employee didn’t want to get syrup for us when it was breakfast. i love the food they cooked, very refreshing and different. one of the lady’s in the market was really nice. the food truck, buffet and steakhouse were my favorite. activities were fun and had a amazing tour and experience with the jetski. will definitely book again! they also had little events on the island that were also fun. drinks were good, pisces bar was a good bar. overall the trip was a 5/5. weather was good, it rained one day but it was still hot.

We visited Hotel Hideaway last week for our honeymoon, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The hotel is about 1.5 hours from the airport, so be prepared for a bit of travel upon arrival. When we checked in, we went through the Hideaway section, which felt less impressive compared to the main lobby area. Our room, while decent, was a bit worn and didn't quite live up to the modern standards we were expecting. Despite this, we loved the swim-out pool, which we used multiple times a day. It was definitely worth the upgrade. We arrived on a Tuesday, and initially, the hotel had a more laid-back vibe with an older crowd. However, by Thursday, the atmosphere picked up with younger guests and a lively pool party that was fun. We dined at all the hotel's restaurants, and our top picks were Dorado, a Hideaway exclusive, and Hunter Steakhouse. While the Hideaway area offers a more romantic, couples-oriented experience, you still share amenities like the beach, certain pools, and most restaurants with the main hotel. Given this, we weren’t entirely convinced the extra cost of the Hideaway was justified. Overall, we had a fantastic time in St. Lucia and might consider trying Sandals on our next visit.

Don’t stay here!!!!! They will charge your card that’s supposed to be a $200 deposit when it was actually considered a charge!!! The staff at one restaurant told one of my family members to change their attire when other people had the same attire on. Also, if you’re black they do not cater to this significant race we were dismissed on multiple occasions at the bar and etc. The food was horrible our stomach were hurting and we felt nauseous the entire trip. It was not really adult only the kids were everywhere on the resort that was adult only. I saw a lot of kids pick up food and throw it back into the buffet tray. Parents should do a better job of fixing your kids plates. Worst experience ever. Never coming back ever!!!!!

I would not recommend staying at Royalton of St. Lucia to anyone! My family and I stayed there from 8/19-8/24. Here's why I will not recommend staying: 1.There was construction going on (unbeknownst to us) at the resort, which was at times loud while trying to relax on the beach. 2. One of our family members booked a king-sized single bed for husband/wife, when we arrived, they were given 2 queen sized beds and told they were unable to accommodate because no more rooms were available. 3. Housekeeping did not clean room for two consecutive days, even though "Please service" sign was placed on door and front desk notified. 4. Locals on beach constantly ask you to purchase excursions even if you are simply trying to relax on the beach. If I want to do an excursion, I am fully capable of arranging. It was annoying to be approached on multiple occasions, even after politely declining. 5. Be mindful of charges when you check in. They charge a one-time $60 "government fee" upon check-in. They also state you must place a card on hold for $200, which is to be refunded once you check out. Needless to say, this was charged to my card and not placed on hold. I have contacted their front desk staff on multiple occasions, emailed Omega Alexander, who is their "Front Desk Supervisor", as well as customer service, and Sabine Adolphy, who is listed as the General Manager. I have YET to receive requested refund. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT!! WILL NEVER STAY AT ROYALTON AGAIN!
