The staffs were friendly and helpful. They came immediately to help us as our room was too hot, the laundry was running out of the soap and gave suggestions where to eat. The Japanese breakfast was excellent and it was worth the 1800 yen/person which we enjoyed it very much. We took the bus and the taxi(1000yen) to/from the station.

About 800 yen taxi from Akita station. Hotel staff were helpful. Room was a decent size, but the bed was quite uncomfortable and hard (compared to western style bed). Location seems to be in some sort of entertainment district with many hostess bars in the area.

Excellent, caring staff
I misplaced an item at the hotel, and the staff went out of their way to help me track it down. Very caring, conscientious and wanting to ensure our stay was the best it could be.

Perfectly Adequate
Hotel was completely adequate. Small and a bit cramped, but that is how Japanese hotels are. It was clean and quiet. There were plenty of great restaraunts within easy walking distance. Desk clerk was amazingly helpful. We will stay again.

I chose this hotel because the rate was a bit lower than hotels closer to the station. Its in the middle of a restaurant and bar district, about a fifteen minute straight slog from the station. The room was OK except that it had the most stained and gross carpet of any place I've stayed in Japan, and I have stayed in a lot of places. It may have been clean, but it was bad to look at and hard to ignore. Otherwise, the bathroom was clean and fairly modern and the wi-fi was good.
