Wonderful historical building with glimpses of the grandeur of the past. The location is fantastic with beautiful views just outside, a safe area for walking and many options for food and drink. Overall a nice property. I like that it's old and kind of quirky. One of the front desk staff was very friendly. The other guy a little more quite and annoyed when I asked about the pool. I liked sitting on the veranda outside of my room and having tea watching a storm roll by. The breakfast was very nice too.

The hotel is refurbished from an old colonial house and was very charming. The staff were incredibly helpful and it was an easy check in. It is a great location to stay in Iquitos and there is plenty of food and shops around walking distance. They only offer breakfast and no other meals or room service. If you enjoy history and want to stay in a nice quiet hotel this is the place.
