2/10 Poor

Terrible as an accomodation
We could not rate the staff as we arrived late and left early so they did not have opportunity to recieve our issues. That said, I raised the issues with the site in their internal review and while apologetic they did not mention any of the issues we had said. Overall, it was dirty and mould in the showers, dead flies in the sink and the shower /wetroom smelt bad - which also became apparent thi may have been due to the shower drain being blocked and after 1 person showering it flooded the downstairs. The site advised that we may have been incorrect expecting it do be disabled friendly or suitabe for 6, however we checked before and it stated it could accomodate 6 and was accessible. The only accessible part was the wet room, the rest was very cramped, there is 1 room downstairs that converts to a bed room / kitchen / dining room, but the bed takes 90% of the room - so if you are movement limited you are very much in difficulty. aside from this, the area is prone to massive amounts of mosquitos - fair enough, its by a river / etc, but why no mosquito nets at the windows? it was so hot, and you couldnt open a window without letting a swarm in - odd. i cannot advise as to the attractions - it looks like something kids would enjoy and is different but we only used as a stopever, but as an accomodation I felt like we were duped by the description

The accommodation was fine but the whole site was very run down with no facilities to get food or drink. The man at check in was very helpful.

Great location, with a cycle route along the Seine into Troyes. Manager couldn’t have been more friendly. Lots of other families on site were also very friendly and the kids played happily with other kids at the outdoor games area.

Great family friendly place
Booked this 1 hour before arriving and the system worked. The place we’re expecting us at 7pm for an unexpected over night stay and the owners were fantastic. This is a great place for kids to run free and Wild West style caravan very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Great for a stopover.
A great place to stop over, I guess we were out of season when we arrived as the place was pretty deserted apart from another two families.

Excellently
We stopped in one of the wagons, we were in our way back from camping in Spain, it was faultless. Great shower, cutlery was in the wagon and even salt and pepper. We had a campfire right outside the wagon. We were made very welcome, would love to stop there again in the future

Kids had fun
It was Fun for the kids. A bit different. And Troyes location great for a long trip from UK across France. Booking one Wagon for the family (2 adults, 2 children...and adding a cot for our baby) it was same value as a boring motorway hotel. The kids loved playing with other kids there.

Mrs Dodie Baker
Its was a very cute place especially good for the children.Lots of outside room to run around in a quite village area with Troyes very close by.All local amenities close by within walking distance.Plenty of space to park. They are still in the process of expanding. But the next time we go we hope to see the Saloon open as well as more Wagon Cabins.Who knows we might kick the kids out into the Teepees there. Really nice stay all you need available soap, towels ,kitchen and toilet paper, beds made and spare bed sheets for roll out sofa bed-very comfortable actually.Great for summer and warm enough in the spring and winter.

Unique and quirky
This place is great. We stayed in a western caravan which had everything we needed. Only downside was the fridge wasn't on and didn't know how to switch it on! But was ok as we were only there one night. There is obvioshly work in progress on site to expand this unique place so some of it looked like a building site. However, we were tucked away by some trees which was lovely. There are restaurants a short drive away which is also handy. We would like to go back again if we can. I highly recommend.

A great end to our holiday
Had a one night stopover travelling north to Calais, wish we had stayed longer, went with kids (teenagers) and in laws are didn't tell them where we were stopping. It was a fantastic surprise and a great memorable end to our holiday. The kids had a go with air rifles and archery. The cabins themselves were fabulous, very comfortable and we'll kitted out. Run by a great guy who clearly has a sense of humour, he still has work to do one the place and you can see it is a work in progress, but it's great fun and a bit whymsical. The village a couple of minutes away was convenient, good Chinese buffet which was great for a last night meal and a great boulangerie for a last breakfast.
