Beautiful area and lots of parking available. No dining options except in the hotel. Very large room with everything you would need but looked like it was in the middle of an update at some stage.

Unfortunately, they only had smoking rooms available, and probably no single room. Good for families, but only ok for solo travel. Nice public baths, large rooms, beds were a little thin.

Good jumping-off point for touring Noto peninula.
The Noto peninsula is remarkable... beautiful with lots of honest-to-goodness fishing villages. For weeks before traveling we couldn't find a hotel room anywhere on the Noto peninsula and were resigned to driving back and forth from Toyama. A room in the Noto Royal became available at the last minute and we grabbed it. The location is excellent for touring Noto. The Royal is a large golf resort hotel with spa that caters to Japanese. It's short on charm, but has lots of facilities and very large rooms. Hotel staff were hospitable and made every effort to help despite the language barrier.
