"We had a great stay at the Old Colorado Inn. We stayed in the main building which is a historic building that is very well maintained with a number of rooms. There are also very nice cottages you can reserve that looked very nice. The location is great since you are right in the middle of a very nice quaint small town where you can walk to many restaurants, breakfast cafes, coffee shops, clothing and many other shops as well as a very nice boardwalk along the Indian River. The town is also centrally located so it is easy to explore other towns and parks. I was very impressed with how the owner of the hotel maintains the buildings to make sure they are kept up and very clean and he was very attentive to whatever we needed. He really wanted to make sure we had a nice stay which was very nice. He was very welcoming. I do not often take the time to write reviews, but we had a very nice stay, so I wanted to make sure I wrote something up. "

"I chose a room directly overlooking the marina for a direct view of the marina from my balcony. Couteous staff and I very much enjoyed my stay. Charters right outside for anyone looking to do a little fishing; although I did not follow suit (this time). Brought my bicycle with me and found ample scenic places to ride. There's a local coffee shop near by that is certainly in biking/walking distance. (Although, I purchased one of their green drinks instead.) Or dine at the Pirate's Cove very own restaurant. For nature lovers, such as my self, who enjoy the outdoors and salt-water, Port Salerno is a nice place to visit and hope to revisit at some point; as there was much left to discover and do...and if I do, The Pirate's Cove Resort & Marina is where I will book my stay. 5 STARS."
