Makes slumlords look like the Ritz

Elevator was broken, our room was on the seventh floor. Reading older reviews it seems to be a common issue. Flat was the very definition of quantity over quality. Yes, it was a big space but the owner puts ikea land lords to shame. Pillows the size of postage stamps with no fill, broken couch, holes in the sheets, holes in the shower curtain that had half fallen off, no water pressure. It all goes on. My favorite part though, was the “fitted sheet” on the bed. It was literally the exact size of the mattress. Meaning it just sat on the top with no way to stop it from moving. You inevitably woke up finding yourself sleeping on the stained mattress below with no sheets. This all on top of the fact that day before they cancelled my reservation and told me to talk to the booker. After wasting two hours of my vacation I come to find out it was all a mistake and I did have a reservation. Absolute clowns running that place. Never again.

 everything else? Not so much.

The location of this hotel is excellent, which may make up for some of the other negatives but if you are staying here, there are just a few things to be aware of: 1. Security - the main front door to the apartments does not lock, making the front door entrance code pointless 2. Lightbulbs - a lot of the lights did not work and we had to use our phones as torches at night 3. There were no toiletries, not even hand soap in the property despite saying so on the website 4. The general state of the apartment - door handles came off when we opened certain doors, curtains could not be opened because they were broken and broken pieces of furniture 5. Awful smell of egg coming from the drains 6. Suspicious stains on sofa, dirty shower curtains, brown marks on towels, bedsheets and pillows As I said, the location could possibly make up for this, especially if you’re coming with friends and plan to stay out and party during the night but couples and families, beware!

Difficile de donner un avis sur l'Ă©tablissement GaitĂ© puisque nous n'y avons pas sĂ©journĂ© comme prĂ©vu ! A 5 jours du dĂ©part, on nous annonce un "problĂšme technique qui ne peut pas ĂȘtre rĂ©solu" donc on nous propose un autre logement : Smartflat Royal. De l'autre cĂŽtĂ© de Bruxelles sachant que nous avions prĂ©vu toutes nos activitĂ©s en fonction de l'emplacement de l'appartement, ça commence bien... Le smartflat royal est mal sĂ©curisĂ© : le portail dans la rue ne ferme pas, le logement est dans un Ă©tat pitoyable : prises arrachĂ©es des murs, murs abĂźmĂ©s, papier peint dĂ©collĂ©, sĂšche-cheveux inutilisable... Comment peut-on louer ça ? C'est vraiment prendre les gens pour des imbĂ©ciles ! C'est malhonnĂȘte et inadmissible que l'on ose faire du business de cette façon, tant de la part de smartflat que de hĂŽtel.com qui propose ce type de "logement" sans mĂȘme en vĂ©rifier la qualitĂ© !

Disaster apartment

Finding and getting into the place was incredibly easy - the front door to the building was broken and perpetually unlocked. Upon entering the flat, it looked decent, but it was hard to see most of it as many of the lights were not working - half of the outlets were broken. We were tired from traveling and were looking forward to showering - unfortunately the shower flooded the bathroom, causing difficulties for the rest of the group to shower as there was perpetually half an inch of water on the floor. We were hoping to just fall asleep to end the suffering, but the pullout bed was completely broken and unusable. The “full” beds were two twin beds pushed together. Some upsides: If you like it cold, you’ll love it here! None of the heaters worked. The coffee maker came with coffee (grounds left behind in the machine). If you want a nice breeze, the window will open and come off the hinges. The “customer service” made great efforts in “passing on information the relevant departments.” Nothing was addressed or fixed during our stay. Avoid this place at all costs.

Not like the pics! Good location but not well kept

We loved the location and the apartment has a lot of potential but it is not well kept. The door to the building (they give you a code for) doesn’t actually lock, but the door to the apartment does. The apartment itself was in terrible condition. The rooms had dead bugs on the walls, live wires behind the bed and just all around need refreshing. The apartment looks nothing like the photos on the website and worst of all.. the pull out couch bed is so broken my son could not even sleep on it and it was very unsafe with rods hanging out. We had to pull the mattress off of the rods/pull out bed and put it on the floor so he wouldnt get hurt.

TrĂšs bien situĂ© mais les photos ne sont pas du tout Ă  jour. Les peintures sont trĂšs abĂźmĂ©es, beaucoup de trous, des traces d’humiditĂ© sur les murs , un cĂąble descend sur tout le couloir, et surtout nous avions rĂ©servĂ© pour 3 lits doubles et seulement 2 lits ont Ă©tĂ© faits et nous n’avons pas rĂ©ussi Ă  obtenir un set de draps/ couette/ oreillers en plus car l Ă©tablissement n avait pas eu cette info et nous devions payĂ© en plus 25€. Une ampoule Manquait au luminaire principale de la table pour fĂȘter notre dĂźner de repas et n’a pas Ă©tĂ© changĂ© non plus suite Ă  notre demande. La wifi ne fonctionne pas du tout. Bref mensonge sur le produit vendu, et pas en bon Ă©tat. Nous avons passĂ© des appels et envoyĂ© des e-mails mais la rĂ©ponse Ă©tait : nous contactions le service technique, le service du linge etc

Eine grundsÀtzlich sehr schöne zentrale Wohnung, leider nicht sehr gut im Zustand, alles ein wenig vernachlÀssigt, sehr schade. Achtung: Smartflat kommuniziert nicht. Wir haben x-mal versucht anzurufen, es wurde nie abgenommen, auch Emails werden nie beantwortet. Das haben wir noch nie erlebt.

Bonjour, C’est le pire sĂ©jour que j’ai passer en plus en famille pas de tĂ©lĂ© pendant tout le sĂ©jour pas de lit bĂ©bĂ© alors que je l’ai rĂ©server aprĂšs j’ai tellement insistĂ© il son voulu me le ramĂšne le dernier jour pour une nuit Ă  25€ c’est vraiment du n’importe quoi le lit qu’on a partagĂ© avec notre bĂ©bĂ© vraiment pas confortable de ressort qui dĂ©passe sur le matelas le canapĂ© convertible nul trĂšs nul les accoudoirs qui tombe pas de parking alors que l’accueil tĂ©lĂ©phonique il m’on bien dis que il sont des place rĂ©server en bas de l’hĂŽtel alors c’est faut c’est des places a stationnement interdit le personnel de l’accueil tĂ©lĂ©phonique il son fiche complĂštement des clients il devrait m’envoyer un technicien pour me rĂ©parer la tĂ©lĂ© j’ai l’ai bien attendu pendant mon sĂ©jour sont nouvelles c’est vraiment un hĂŽtel Ă  fuir mise appart la localisation qui top au centre ville accoter de tou le reste c’est vraiment nul trĂšs nul Ă  fuir.

Too dirty, apartment not clean at our arrival. Not enough equipment inside with regard to towels and pillows. Beds are not comfortable at all. Big noise going around, building under renovations. Garbage of previous clients left in the apartment. Location so convenient, central and close to all destinations.
