This place looks like it used to be a very nice place to stay, but it stopped being nice probably 30 years ago. There are patches on the walls, chipped paint and cocking, old fixtures and the old-house smell. The pool towel was stained and the breakfast area was not clean. I went for breakfast at 6 am (when it opens) and there's no explanation why the tongs had old food caked on them and the syrup bottle was stuck to the base. Although it's a non smoking establishment, the first room I was given smelled like an ashtray.
I liked that their pool is enclosed so you can enjoy it rain or smile but it needs to be resurfaced and probably cleaned. My room had a tub. The water at the sink didn't ever get hot, just kind of warm, but the shower did.
This place has potential but it's not even worth $100/night. I could have stayed at a lodge.
