Bed with a disgusting surprise
The stay was pleasant. The room was well appointed and spacious. The amenities were great. However, upon checkout I pulled back the sheets to ensure that I had not left anything behind. Only to find that someone previous had vomited in the bed (bottom corner) and the sheets had not been changed since the last stay. I was disgusted and reported it immediately. It has been over 60 hours since I reported it and not one person has contacted me either by phone or email to discuss. So disappointed as the trip had been great until that point. Would not use a Meriton hotel again if this is the way they handle customer service.

Not a functional room for a business person. No desks, had to move dining table around to be near to a powerpoint. Somene else's rubbish in the fridge, no tea towel or wipes and due to limited servicing arrangements of three days these were not appropriate. No 'usr-friendly way to navigate the television controls. Heaps of local dining that was good and excellent reception staff, just let down by the room on this occasion.

Disappointed
Very disappointed with the Meriton. Most hotels have a check in at 2pm but the Meriton isn`t till 3pm. We got there to check in at 3.15 and the line up was out the door to check in ,they seem to have the longest check in computer system out, and when we finally got to check in we were told that our room wasn’t ready. When you have been on the road for hours all you want is to rest up. Also the lifts are the slowest lifts in the world. Won`t stay here again.

The Meriton is always a well appointed, clean accommodation option. We were within an easy walk to the train station and eateries which made our stay very easy and carefree. We were in Sydney for a concert at Accor Stadium and transport to and from the event via train was very straight forward. We hope to stay here again in the future.
