Beautiful apartment/ lacking in customer service.
The accommodation was beautiful and the location (beach side) was amazing!!My daughter enjoyed the indoor pool, however we were unable to enjoy the outside much due to the extensive construction that was happening just next door (both sides) of the pool. We were not notified of the construction that was happening in the lots next to the pool and just outside our apartment. The construction started at 6:30 in the morning in one of the construction sites, they were using an estimated 30 metre drill to make holes/supports for the new apartments going in and then filling them with concrete and metal. There were cranes, cement mixers, diggers, drill etc. On the other side they were using angle grinders, cranes and other power tools. When we asked the manager about the construction, we were brushed off. I asked why we were not notified about the construction and were brushed off again and spoken to in a quite demeaning manner. There was no information, compensation offered and no change of room offered either. The apartment was beautiful, however their communication and customer service was very lacking.

Clean and convenient with lovely staff
Very convenient and clean apartment with a lovely team on reception. Apartment was a little dated but still clean and met our needs for the trip. Lovely facilities including swimming pools and tennis. Would recommend for a clean and convenient base to explore with lovely ocean views in the 7th floor and higher apartments.

Amazing views from every room! Standard rooms need a referb, but are clean and bright with good beds. Two pools is perfect for if the outside one is cold and the beach is literally across the road. Amazing place to stay!

Views were exstordonary. The place was exactly how listed. A few concerns. Couches were worn out and need replacing. Ice trays were cracked and not usable. The master shower, you cant shut off the hot water. It drips and drips causing wasted water. With all that said. I would rent this unit again.

We booked a Premier 2 bedroom for a 5 night stay & we were so lucky to be upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment. The views were spectacular & the apartment so spacious & clean with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Special mention to the office staff who were so helpful, we even managed to get an early check in. Would highly recommend staying at 2nd Avenue Burleigh.

Property and staff were great. Lots of construction around which was noted on their website so good communication there. They had the parking area unavailable for a week so had to find parking on the street which was very limited which did let the stay down a bit. Other then that was great

The apartment we had 23A was tired and defo in need of a full refurbished, including carpet and furniture. All beds were uncomfortable. Both attempts at a fold out bed were uncomfortable, our 12 year old slept on the couch instead. Someone building renovations were handled well. Staff on front desk polite and helpful. Views amazing, pool convenient, parking easy and great location with walking distance to beach, cafes and restaurants. All the above was reflected in the price - next time we’d ask the question when the apartment was last updated and the beds replaced. Back home tonight and looking forward to a restful nights sleep.
