Deceptive and Unprofessional Management
I had an incredibly frustrating experience with this hotel’s management. I drove all the way to the property at 3 a.m. to cancel my booking in person. The front desk clerk, after consulting with her supervisor, confirmed that my booking was canceled. Based on this assurance, I left the property and returned to the Gold Coast.
However, hours later, I received a call from another manager stating that my booking was not canceled after all. If I had been told this upfront, I could have stayed at the hotel instead of leaving. To make matters worse, they refused to issue a refund despite the earlier confirmation of the cancellation by two of their staff members or even agreed to another date.
This kind of miscommunication and refusal to honor what was promised is unacceptable and unprofessional. Avoid this hotel if you value clear and honest service. Very shady management!
