Service and Rooms are SICKENING
I arrived at 12pm and the reception was unmanned so I rang the number on the door and the man said, yeah mate someone will be back in an hour! (Which Hotel or Motel closes during the day for lunch). So that’s the first issue. The man was very short and sharp with greeting me when I came back and made a major point that breakfast is closed at 8:30AM sharp.
I got to the room after taking a while to find it coz all the signage has come off and I sat on the bed and it collapsed. I looked underneath and the two end wheels had clearly come out but no one bothered to put them back in. They were just shoved under the bed. I then heard this vibrating noise every 30 seconds to a minute and it was annoying so I complained about that and advised him of the bed and he says, oh **** No mention of changing rooms or fixing it. He said, Monday morning we will attend to it.
I then contacted Hotels.com and asked what can I do about a refund or get a free night the next night. They contacted him and he was obviously having a bad day and he came over, knocked on the door,
Told me to leave the property and I had 15 minutes to get out. He was looking around the room for the key and snatched it off me and stormed off. I tried to reason with him but he was not having anything to do with it.
I don’t recommend to stay in the White Lace. Extremely bad service and rooms and just a bit of a joke.
