We visited Caraquet for a night because we were on our way to Gaspé from Moncton, and my good friend and her family live in the area. We met up with them for dinner at a fantastic restaurant close by (Restaurant du Quai).
The motel room was your standard room, but very clean. It has.a huge playground, and an indoor swimming pool with water slide that we could not take advantage of because of our limited time in Caraquet (we have a grade school ageg son with us who would've loved to play in the pool and playground). There was also a boardwalk along the hotel with a beautiful view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence waters, but again we didn't have time to walk along it (we wished we did though).
Staff was friendly. The included breakfast wasn't fancy, but it was still welcomed and convenient.
The town itself didn't seem to have a lot in terms of amenities, but the picturesque waters and easy going pace of the town make up for it. We'd definitely stay at the Super 8 in Caraquet again if we plan another visit to see my friend in the future.
