Nice place!
One of our favorite places to stay for a weekend away. Always quiet and clean. Close proximity to a wonderful restaraunt. Our only reason for not five stars is there is no microwave for reheating food/coffee. We feel this is a basic amenity that almost all hotels have nowadays. Especially for young families who may have a baby to warm food or bottles. For the daily rate comparable to other hotels with microwaves, we feel strongly they should be added. Other than that, great customer service, cleanliness and comfort at each of our stays.

Terrific stay but property taken
The stay was wonderful and the staff were great until after we left- a member of the party left a jacket behind and the staff refuse to save it in a small bag with my name on it so I can pick it up- doubtless it has been stolen already. The terrific experience has been changed to ok unless they want to return our property.

Stressful!
When we checked in, our credit card was charged over a hundred dollars more than the amount on my receipt from hotels.com --not only a higher rate for the same room, but also a $25 charge for our daughter as an "additional person." As advertised on hotels.com, the room has "2 Queen beds and sleeps four." We were just three! No need for a cot or extra bedding, pillows, etc., and we didn't eat breakfast there either. I spent the morning before checkout on the phone with hotels.com and with my credit card company, instead of enjoying our visit. At checkout, we were refunded $89 for the room rate upcharge, but not for the "additional person" charge. The "no refund" policy mentioned in other negative reviews prevents guests from walking away when they arrive and find the room rate has skyrocketed. We were treated very politely and the accommodation was clean and comfortable; however, this is a simple motel, and not worth $268/night! We do not trust the management enough to stay here again.

On the positive side, free parking was a great convenience, and check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean, and the area was really quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. The shower had good water pressure, and the room was nicely lit. I also appreciated having a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room, making it easy to store snacks and enjoy a quick coffee. There’s a nice heated pool, though I didn’t get a chance to use it, but it seemed like a great amenity. There were a few areas that could be improved, though. The breakfast was a bit disappointing and didn’t quite meet my expectations. I also noticed a soiled bed cover, which wasn’t ideal. The room didn’t have a full-body mirror, and the shower was quite small, which felt a bit cramped. The motel is a bit far from any walkable restaurants, so it’s best suited for guests who don’t mind driving to eat out.

I really enjoyed staying at the property - my room overlooked the back with the Wildcat River. Check in was easy. The room was nice, clean, bed comfortable, bathroom with toiletries provided. Breakfast provided was good Draw-back - there is easy access to the building - the entrances should have key card. I did not feel unsafe, but it would be an improvement.
