Convenient downtown hotel in Oslo, self service check in and check out, Lounge areas downstairs with places to sit and eat meals. Basic but all functioning well. Plenty of cafes and shops around to get breakfast and other meals.

Perfect location !

All was great .. our room had an issue with the window not opening (there is no air conditioning ) so I requested to be moved, however they gave us a tough time because the hotel was fully booked. However after all the complaining and contacting management we were finally moved . I will stay here again. Near Tran station and shops.

A Perfect Place (except room 613!)

My room was perfect. I have come to CityBox a few times before and have always enjoyed it except for the time I was given room 613 I believe it was, which was way too small. So small I could only stand in about half the room. That room should be turned back to the broom closet it once was!

Basic, clean close to Oslo S hotel could be noisy7

It is a basic clean hotel. The concept is efficiently operated. 24/7 in house staff to address the needs. The location to Oslo s is only a mere 3min walk. Citybox oslo is kind enough to change my room facing noisy trams line. Subsequently, my room was facing void courtyard where i could hear chinese couple quarrel.at 4am, loud hp music, talkg till late at night from nearby windows and also my opp room. Depending on your luck, it could be pleasant. Pantry is available at ground floor.

Disappointed This Time Around

Had been at Oslo and Bergen CityBox before and loved it. This time, my room was so small I could only actually stand up in half the room, room 613, right under the room by the eaves. Sadly, I am not kidding. Getting in the shower was not easy either. I understand the "box" concept and love it, but room 613 should NOT be a room but a broom closet!

Disappointing Experience Despite Prime Location

The hotel is situated in a prime area of Oslo, which initially gave us high expectations. However, our experience was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, we were met with a rude and unwelcoming receptionist, which set a negative tone for our stay. The cleanliness of the room was below standard—no daily cleaning was provided, which was quite surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Most concerning was the condition of the washroom in Room 411. The toilet commode was broken, and despite our request to change the room, we were simply told “sorry” with no further action taken. Customer service and maintenance need serious improvement. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on our experience.

昨年に続き再泊しました。駅に近く、分かりやすく、部屋の広さも1人には充分。シャワーブースも充分広く、下には共用のキッチン、煮炊きは出来ませんが、レンジ、冷蔵庫、シンク、お湯も沸かせます。 オスロに来る時は必ず泊まりたいです。

Jeg ba om rom med minst mulig støy fra gaten utenfor, og fikk rom i 4 etg., inn mot bakgården. Sov godt og i stillhet! Gode muligheter for å slippe inn frisk luft. Rommet hadde grei størrelse. Ekstremt tung skyvedør inn til badet, noe jeg umiddelbart tenker ikke er en fordel med et handicaprom. Super gangavstand til alt og kan godt anbefales om man ønsker et busjettvennlig overnattingssted.
