The decor was tired, the edges of the bath was full of mildew and the wallpaper is starting to peel off at various places. However, I was pleasantly surprised that there was a filtered drinking water tap in the bathroom. The front of house staff were constantly on their mobile phones and the security staff had his head down at the desk and sleeping most mornings. I'm all for being eco friendly but my room number was written in pencil on the tatty, worn, re-used and unhygienic keycard holder. The hotel is within walking distance to a large shopping centre & supermarket, the Expo MRT station and various F&B outlets.

Great location near the airport and metro
We stayed at Park Avenue Changi for one night during our layover in Singapore and the location is very easily accessible by bus or 1 Train station away from the airport. It’s also a good location to easily access downtown and key attractions in public transport with the blue and green line passing at the metro station nearby. Lots of dining option around the hotel as well if you don’t want to go too far. I totally recommend it and would be back!

Poor service
Check in progress is quick, but the bellboy wasn’t really help. I checked in 1am with 1 toddler that slept in my arm and view luggage but no one help. I lost my baby bag and try to call the receptionist but no one pick up, when I go down the bellboy hold the bag and don’t even care to call my room.
