Was very happy with price and accommodation

Our stay was quiet & peaceful.

The room was clean and nicely presented. The bed was comfortable, the room was private and secure. There is facilities to make your own breakfast, BYO food. Tea and coffee provided. The staff were lovely and friendly, with really fast assistance with one minor issue that was resolved in less than 3 minutes.

This property is well priced and the rooms are large, spacious and clean. And it was so quiet! Although it is advertised as having a continental breakfast, we were unable to find it. When we arrived, the carparks available were too narrow for our vehicle and we had to reverse down the driveway, which was difficult due to a lot of overhanging trees and shrubs on each side. Good value for money but not sure if it can be classified as a B&B.

Positives: Price and location were great, self check in and check out, bed linen and towels were fresh and bed quite comfortable. Negatives: Room smelled musty and there was visible mould in the bathroom, I could hear other occupants walking around and talking in the adjoining room.

Really had a good stay here. Very clean, great amenities and staff provided great service. Rooms very well equipped and spacious. Conveniently located and very close to Atherton, I would happily stay here again.

Nice peaceful setting, easy check in. Room was comfortable. Venetion blinds and window sills had thick covering of dust...time for a spring clean.

We had a lovely comfortable room, and the kitchen/lounge/ common area was well equipped and comfortable.

This property is not an "upmarket B&B" It should be considered as a Hostel. There is a separste bedroom & bathroom, however all other amenties are shared. Laundry facillities are in another building down the road & Wifi is not free.
Margie, 1-night trip

Easy check in process, had a pool (too cold to use while i was there), It would be an ideal place for a group booking as 3 rooms connect to the common room. The downside to that is, if rooms are booked by random people, it can be loud - if you are looking for a quiet night.

The place was so quiet. The parking is not so convenient.

No wifi despite it being advertised. Poor kitchen facilities & utensils.
Mark, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Don't stay here. Photos in ad did not match room. The room was on the lower ground of a split-level house with the back of the room being the side of a hill. The room had a very strong unhealthy musty smell that irritated my sinsus. Was told there was a shared kitchenette & there isn't. Room guide indicated there was Wifi but there isn't. Manager did not respond to my request for assistance with WiFi password nor for use of kitchenette. Zero service. Seriously overpriced. Could not wait to leave.

Very bad smell in the whole property. Feel like mould smell. Bedding is humid. I can't breathe properly in the room. So I almost didn't get any sleep that night. It's called B&B, but doesn't offer any breakfast. No wifi at all.

It’s a lovely property, but the mattress are terrible, they are uncomfortable, the mattress need to be more supportive. After sleeping on those mattresses for 2 nights , my back was hurting. The parking was a bit tight, but ok

Advertised as a B&B. There was no breakfast provided or the ability to order breakfast. Very low water pressure in the shower
Ray, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Couldn’t get through with internet disrupting booking. So booked in elsewhere, then received a booking confirmation from B &B later. Tried to immediately cancel. Would not accept cancellation and charged full amount when we never even stayed there. Lady on phone helpful, said we should be able to successfully cancel booking but got charged anyway.

Good location close to town. Bed was not very comfortable.Venetian blinds let in a lot of light. Sheer curtain over front door offered no privacy. The shower floor felt as though it may cave in at any moment, and there was thick black mould growing at the bottom of the fixed panel of the shower screen. The electric setup was very poor and unsafe, with a series of powerboards joined together to reach across the room. No toilet ro holder. Blankets and towels were inadequate. Toilet paper was very cheap, thin and scratchy. Overall a disappointing experience to the point where we almost considered driving home and forfeiting our room rather than staying.
Adam, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

When we got over the bleach almost knocking us out the door, we found it a very strange property. Our room was annexed to a very dated living room with a bar fridge numbered for each room. We also weren't notified that there was nothing except UHT milk in the fridge. To be fair, we weren't advised that breakfast was provided although some reviews mentioned it. Our room had a saggy old futon with a daggy cover. Surely a nice chair would be affordable and presentable. The see through curtain on the front door of our room had been noted in reviews three years ago, yet still nothing has changed. Hence privacy is almost non existent. Cheap broken curtain rod being used as a towel rail just dropped on the floor at the slightest touch. Shower door had a broken off handle. Above all it was the totally filthy floor that was the most memorable defect. I wish I took a photo of my feet after walking around for just a few minutes. Absolutely jet black and filthy. Yet the bedlinen was fantastic. Go figure.
